Jinxuan Hotel

Very spacious room in traditional house, with beautiful courtyard. Our host gave us tasty fruits. Check-in process was a bit long for foreigners.

Very close to the old town just 5 mins walk to the walking street near to 县衙.. many eateries nearby.. host is very friendly and helped me to retrieve my lost item on the train.. room is clean and amenities available.. comes with free breakfast as well! the only cons is the road in front of the stay is under construction..

I had a fantastic stay in this authentic place. The location is superb in the old city. Transportation from en to the train station was arranged by the hotel without additional fee which I appreciate.

The hotel operator tried hard to contact me before I got to the hotel to see if I needed a shuttle from the train station (but my Chinese is poor and I misunderstood his phone call). He gave me a map and restaurant recommendations once I arrived. The hotel is about a four minute walk from the southwest gate, on a quiet side street (but the street is long). The ambience was lovely, and the facilities were fine - although the bathroom in my room is narrow so my knees touched the wall when I used the toilet. However, this is an old converted building, so I didn't mind too much. It was very cold at night in early May, but the room has a heater.

This hotel was a wonderful place to stay at, very clean, great location, friendly staff. Just what i needed
