This guesthouse has a really authentic, homey feel, like a traditional grand courtyard house. Even though the old town doesn't have central heating, the owner thoughtfully turned on the AC for us beforehand, so the room was nice and warm when we arrived. Since we had a child with us, they even kindly provided extra blankets. For a place inside the ancient town scenic area, it's pretty good value for money. Plus, there's a shuttle service to get in and out of the ancient city.

My stay at Pingyao Yiheyu was a delightful surprise. The cleanliness was impeccable; the room was spotless, the bedding was clean and odor-free, the washroom was dry and tidy, and even the desks and windowsills were sparkling clean, making me feel exceptionally safe and comfortable. The courtyard was a highlight, showcasing the classic architectural style with its gray bricks and tiles adorned with red lanterns and interspersed greenery. It was perfect for sunbathing during the day and for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere at night, with every photo taken looking like a scene from a traditional Chinese painting. The owner thoughtfully provided free pick-up from the station, communicating arrival time in advance, and offering a smooth check-in process and patient explanations of sightseeing routes. The service was warm and unpretentious. The facilities were comprehensive and sufficient, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the location was quiet yet convenient, within walking distance of key attractions, and the price was affordable with no hidden costs. It far exceeded my expectations and is the top choice for traveling in Pingyao. I highly recommend it to all travelers.

選對地方了！民宿就是老房子，看着親切。床軟和、熱水足，出門走幾步就到古城街。院子裏紅燈籠特好看，房間啥都不缺。老闆免費接站，還告哪的小吃地道。衞生超放心，每天都換洗漱品。老闆給規劃省錢路線，花小錢住老宅子，服務、衞生都在線，性價比直接拉滿！
