It was a precious hotel in the middle of the ancient town so super well located if you want to enjoy all the cultural places and the amazing food of Pingyao. The host is super nice and gives very good recommendations about the city and the restaurants there. Very recommendable!

Location is great, very close to the pedestrian area in the old town. The staff were very friendly and recommended places to visit. The room was very small with barely any space for bags and nowhere to dry towels but mostly clean. The toilet and shower are separate cubicles out of frosted glass with sink in the middle. The shower door didn't close properly so the water leaked onto bedroom floor and the toilet door opened into the bed. There was no bathmat provided.

Although the inn is a bit out of the way, it is on the scenic area's battery car route. It is clean and hygienic. The owner is enthusiastic and takes the initiative to introduce the best tour routes in the ancient city, recommend delicious food, and is willing to contact a tour bus to make up for its shortcomings.

The location isn't great, and it's difficult to find the place. The facilities are old. The rooms are padlocked. Upon arrival, we noticed the bathroom was dirty. We complained and they cleaned it, but it was unpleasant to find it in that state. When we left the next morning, there was no employee with whom we could check out, so we had no choice but to leave the room key on the counter.
