This lovely hotel gets 6 out of 5 stars!! It is located a 5 min. Walk from the main street, not too far of the gate where you can catch a taxi to the train station. However the hotel organised a pickup from the gate, which they did not charge for. The room is probably the best room we have rented ever, definitely in this price range you won't find a better one. It was super clean, new, huge comfortable bed, everything was working as advertised. The bathroom is super modern with the most advanced toilet. Outside the room is a lovely sitting or smoking area where you can chill. The host is really attentive and friendly, perfect. I can recommend this hotel, you won't be disappointed!!

Amazing, like a fairy tale.

The whole courtyard is a Qing Dynasty building with a sense of age. The decoration in the room is great, the sanitary conditions are also very good, the boss is very enthusiastic, the explanation is very detailed, and the restaurant recommended to us in the ancient city is also very delicious. I also got a discount because of the recommendation of the homestay. It was a very satisfactory trip.

The inn is located in a quiet area, very clean, and has good projection. There are cars to pick you up in and out of the ancient town. After checking in, the owner will recommend the best tourist route according to the time, which is not bad!

The most important thing when traveling is the hygiene of the accommodation. Pingyao Ancient City is basically homestays. After reading a lot of reviews, I finally chose Pingyao Dayin Inn, which was a great experience. The inn is a historical building, the accommodation is very clean, with a smart toilet, a Dyson hair dryer, a sensor light at night, and the air conditioner is very quiet, so you can't hear any sound. The breakfast has local flavor and is delicious. Since cars cannot enter and exit the ancient city, the inn helped call a free car to enter and exit the Lower East Gate. Although the inn is on the edge of the ancient city, it is quiet in the hustle and bustle. The farthest place from the inn to the ancient city is about 1.5 kilometers. In fact, it's okay. There is a sightseeing bus in the ancient city for 10 yuan per person. It's very pleasant to sit in the yard and drink tea at night. This accommodation experience is like a five-star hotel, which is great. The two guys who manage the inn introduced the attractions, restaurants, and various services, which are very satisfactory. I hope the business will be more and more prosperous.

The boss is super nice. He will call in advance to inform you of the travel method and arrange for someone to pick you up at the parking lot. The hotel building is antique, the room layout is warm, and the sanitary products are comparable to those of star hotels. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located in the northeast corner of Pingyao Ancient City, about 10 minutes' walk from the commercial street, and is located in a place where there are many indigenous people in the ancient city. It is very quiet in the morning and evening, and the owner is also very enthusiastic to plan our travel route. The room facilities are pretty good, and it is very comfortable to sit in the yard at night. The breakfast is delicious, the ingredients are fresh, and it was swept away.

I like that the inn provides bicycles for free, so it is easy to go around the city and then walk around the city center, and you can play around the ancient city freely and easily. The room is clean and sanitary, and the equipment is very smart. It can be seen that it is run by young people. The service of the inn is intimate and thoughtful, with special pick-up and drop-off. When checking in, the ancient city tour guide was explained in great detail, and it was specially marked on the map prepared for us. The center of the ancient city is very commercialized. I think only living here can fulfill my ancient city dream. I am really lucky to live here.

Very nice stay with very accommodating hosts. We thought the location was great, as it was away from the tourist hustle and bustle but still within the old town and right in the middle of the normal residents. There is also a small supermarket around the corner. We were picked up at the west gate on arrival, as taxis are not allowed into the old town. We had contacted the accommodation beforehand about this. Breakfast was Chinese (picture 1). But I don't have a problem with that anyway. The rooms are reasonably large, even if the bathroom is a bit cramped. But it can hardly be done any other way. Only a few additional hooks in both the bathroom and the hallway would have been useful. Otherwise, the courtyard has a very nice atmosphere. Drinks from the vending machine were fairly priced. The restaurant on the main street, for which you get a voucher, is highly recommended (20%). The arrangement of a driver who drove us to the Wang family's house (approx. 51km) (280 RMB) was also great. We were picked up directly from the accommodation. The return trip to the train station was also made directly from the accommodation by the same driver (40 RMB). A big compliment to the young driver Mr. Wang. He was the calmest and safest driver of our time in Shanxi so far. We would book the accommodation again at any time!

When I came to Shanxi, I was mentally prepared for the hotel's hygiene and service. I checked many hotels and finally chose Dayin. I was really overjoyed. The location is very quiet, the hotel is very clean, and the boss's service is very attentive. , very warm and warm, highly recommended for families with children.
