What a pleasant surprise! This hundred-year-old courtyard, said to have once been a general's residence, completely met my expectations. The room amenities were excellent, and I particularly want to praise how comfortable the pillows were. The cafe offers complimentary coffee and tea from 2 PM to 10 PM, and the staff member there was incredibly kind and attentive. Breakfast was also exquisite and plentiful, especially the handmade noodles prepared by the auntie – absolutely amazing! The staff mentioned they're expanding, and the adjacent courtyard will soon feature a children's playground, gym, and meeting rooms. I'll definitely be back!

My first trip of 2026 was completely healed by the thoughtful service at Pingyuan Mansion! As someone who's sensitive to the cold, my biggest worry when traveling is chilly accommodations, but the underfloor heating throughout the entire house was a pleasant surprise—I was enveloped in warmth the moment I stepped inside, instantly shedding my heavy coat and letting my fatigue melt away as I walked barefoot on the warm floor! The indoor temperature was just right, comfortably and naturally warm! What was even more touching was the consistently enthusiastic service. I received a confirmation message for pick-up before departure, and as soon as I exited the high-speed rail station, I saw staff who proactively helped with my luggage and opened the car door. We chatted about local travel tips along the way, and I easily arrived at my accommodation in just twenty minutes. Upon check-in, the front desk patiently explained how to use the facilities and even shared tips on avoiding peak tourist seasons during the New Year's holiday. During my stay, they responded incredibly quickly to any needs I had, and their attentive attention to detail made me feel incredibly welcome, like being at a friend's house. I must praise the free pick-up and drop-off service! During the New Year's Day holiday, train stations are crowded and congested. No need to worry about taxis or lugging luggage around; the hotel provides round-trip transportation from the station, saving you time and hassle—perfect for families traveling with elderly members and young children. From the comforting underfloor heating to the warm and attentive service, and the hassle-free station transfers, every detail at Pingyuan Gongfu Hotel caters to your travel needs. This New Year's Day, this pleasant accommodation experience made my trip incredibly enjoyable! I've already recommended it to friends who are traveling, and I'll definitely choose it again next time!

After getting off the train, the hotel sent a special car to pick us up and even offered a farewell after check-out. Upon arrival, a bespectacled man carefully checked the suitcase handles, not the trolleys, and even misplaced them! The hotel's amenities are excellent, with a charming courtyard—perhaps one of the better-designed hotels in Pingyao! The hotel also provides a well-designed travel map, making it easy to access Pingyao's main street. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of side dishes presented in a grid format, ideal for nutritious meals. The hotel also provided complimentary afternoon tea, and the staff were incredibly helpful! Overall, it was a great experience!
