Pingyao Rongchang Homestay (Pingyao Ancient City Scenic Area Store)

We stayed at this guesthouse for four nights, and the overall experience was simply flawless! The room and surroundings were exactly as pictured, even better – clean, comfortable, and in a fantastic location, making us feel completely at ease. The host truly deserves special commendation. He was incredibly kind and thoughtful, taking excellent care of us from check-in to check-out. He also thoughtfully recommended many local delicacies and attractions, which added so much to our trip. One of the biggest highlights of this trip was staying at this guesthouse and having so many warm and meaningful conversations with the host, which truly allowed us to experience authentic local hospitality. We highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit!

The room was very grand, spacious and clean. The owner was also very nice. He not only helped with the luggage but also gave us some fruit and introduced some fun and delicious food. It is definitely worth staying here!

I'm so glad I chose Yao Mansion among hundreds of B&Bs in Pingyao Ancient City. It perfectly met my requirements. It has the atmosphere of a siheyuan (a traditional Chinese courtyard) with modern loft-style decor. The first floor houses the living room and bathroom, while the second floor houses the bed. The decor is elegant, and there's a washing machine with dryer, along with all the amenities. The owner's service and attitude are excellent, and he recommends local delicacies in the ancient city. The location is also convenient, near the West Gate, making it easy to get around.
