Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. The place is very beautiful. It's like you travel back in time to a beautiful Chinese house. Totally recommended.

Beautiful hotel located 15min walking from main streets. Nicely decorated, authentic chinese style. Great welcome by owners in English, helpful advices (touristic recommendations, taxi booking..). Traditional breakfast available for 10CNY/pax. Would be great to have the English name written outside so it is easier to find by ourselves. Thank you again! :)

Beautiful accommodation and super friendly staff, helped us a lot since we cannot speak chinese, like buying tickets for attractions, suggesting nice local restaurants and even accompanied us outside the city walls since it was a hot day. We are super happy to have chosen this place and we really recommend it! 😊

Really nice traditional house. Such an experience to sleep in a Kang!

Everyone was very welcoming, bed comfortable, excellent service. Towels were exchanged daily. While the noise insulation for the room walls was very good, we occasionally heard people very clearly through the front door. Otherwise everything was perfect. The location is very good, train station and subway in walking distance.

I don't review everywhere I stay, just if some where is very good or very bad. This place was very good, a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the atmosphere in the courtyard is beautiful. The owner, Harry, speaks good English and is very helpful in explaining the best spots to see in Pingyao. You will not regret booking here.

Really love the hotel’s atmosphere. It is cool both scenery and weather. There aren’t much noice and people around the hotel, a little walk and you will reach some of the tourist’s attraction. Some employees can speak english or if not, wechat is the best help. They also booked taxi and drop us off by the taxi, the service was wonderful. Will stay here again if there’s a chance of visiting.

Very lovely hotel with beautiful interior! The staff is amazing and very kind. They helped us finding our way through the city and brought us to the taxi when it was raining.

Best place we stayed in during our trip in China!! The courtyard is magnificent and our room was clean and comfortable. The hosts were great. Always willing to help us in any way possible to make our stay in Pingyao even better. I would highly recommend if you're coming to Pingyao!

Hotel is located in a quiet area about 600 m from Beimen. not too far from East west street. Room is clean. the Kang bed is comfortable. bathroom and toilet are good with seperated wet and dry area. Hotel ower is very kind. he help arrange rented car for tours and guide us where and how to walk in Pingyao old town.

Excellent hotel and location. The receptionist was very nice and patient with me as I don't speak Chinese. The room was perfect, with a huge bed and very nice shower. All perfectly clean. I'd really recommend this place to anyone.

Hotel is inside the resident area, so it is very quiet. There are noisy from other at the shared court yard. The room has no sound proof. However, the hotel owners are very kind and try to help you.

The hotel has separate space for shower. This helps to ensure that the toilet floor is dry. This is important for elderly travellers. The manager of the hotel is very helpful. He provides us tips to organise our tour at Ping Yao Gu Cheng. He helps us book cars to nearby tourist attractions. He also helps us reserve tickets for the show "Ping Yao Again" .
