Typical nice homestay in Pingyao with traditional Kang beds and scenery. Very nice courtyard from which the rooms can be reached. The owners also run a restaurant in the hotel. Although the rooms look nicely traditional, the bathroom is very modern and has a good shower.

The B&B is near Yingxun Gate (South Gate) on South Street. It's convenient for resting whenever your legs get sore from walking around the ancient city. I stayed there for two nights, and even when I went out at 5 a.m. to take photos of the streetscape and the city walls, there were no one around, which was great. The food was also delicious.
