Amazing stay. Staff is very nice and helpful, helping you to visit Pingyao, finding the hotel, etc...
Rooms are very nice, well decorated. The hotel is a mix between old traditional house and modern renovation with very great taste.
I highly recommend this hotel.

We experienced a very warm welcome there. The staff is kind, friendly and helpful! We got a lot of advice and tips to discover the picturesque Alleys in the old town. The location is perfect to discover the ancient city. The attractions in the 400 years old building is fabulous and ti sleep on a Kang a great experience. To make it short, I can highly recommend the hotel !!

The room is the type I like, nothing fancy or overly decorated. There are earthen kangs, which are also full of folk customs. There is a hammock swing in the yard, which I love! The breakfast is a combination of meat and vegetables and is very cost-effective. Some higher-priced B&Bs may not include breakfast. The overall layout is simple, subtle and hygienic, and the service is considerate. Will stay here next time!

Late to review, this is a beautiful and local Pingyao B&B, highly recommended.
Taking photos is great and quiet.
Although it is a certain distance from the main street, it is acceptable. However, Pingyao was still under maintenance (many roads and city walls) in early September.

The hotel was first built in Wanli period, and has been repaired and supplemented for 400 years. It is a rare ancient courtyard in the north of China.
