The best option I could have made after a difficult crossing of the Açor mountain range. Very comfortable and clean and with very friendly service at reception, breakfast and bar. I just don't give it a 5 rating because being a 4* hotel it should have some better quality details.

It was the 3rd time we were there and for us it is the best Inatel in the country: comfortable, welcoming, has the right number of rooms, located in a beautiful place, the staff are extremely friendly, available and professional. We felt at home. The meals are excellent, both in quantity and quality. Employees replace it whenever requested. Suggestion for improvement: refresh the bathrooms and bedrooms, as there is some mold and cracks, obviously due to the age of the building. I hope to go back there again!

I was at the Piodão hotel with my wife. The hotel in general is very good. I loved that it was quite warm, the rooms, the corridors, the restaurant, everything is warm and comfortable. There was a very pleasant entertainment on Friday morning. Breakfast isn't anything special but it's good. It has what it needs. There were two things I would improve: having double beds, because they are all single beds, and the bathrooms, because the showers have low water pressure. I would definitely stay there again. I have no major complaints. The service is good and the place is pleasant.

Hotel with poor restaurants and management needs to look at the hotel as a business, in which customers are its priority, and the hotel is not your home. It's unthinkable, at Christmas time, for food to be missing, cold and for lunch desserts to be EXACTLY the same for dinner. And when I say “exactly” it’s because they are the same without any type of change. Example: gelatin removed from the lunch bowl, cut into pieces and placed in another smaller bowl; children left in the air and drying out; etc etc. I spend a lot of time in hotels and I have never seen management using hotel facilities as if it were their home! Unthinkable! And not a “word” to ask if everything was ok! Poor Direction. However, its employees are doing what they can to make the hotel work. Nice and normal facilities. Normal cleaning.

Degraded and comfortless rooms. The slamming of bedroom doors is unbearable. The bathroom in the room has cracked tiles. The wall had mold. At breakfast we had to eat quickly or the food would run out. There was also an employee who took our plates away from us even with food, eager to take away the towels when there was no one else waiting for breakfast. The opening hours are until 10:30am but at 9:30am there is no food left. We had dinner one day and it was equally bad. The facilities have potential but the management doesn't seem to.
