Hyatt Place Pittsburgh North Shore

We have stayed at this hotel before and had no issues. But this time was atrocious they wouldn’t let us check in early, which is OK but the reason they told us was there was no rooms available, but they were booking other people while I was in line then they told me that my room I booked was not available and they had asked me if I needed a King accessible room. I said not necessarily, but I still felt like that was an inconvenience that they had to even ask me, so I moved on, got my room got inside the pool out bed had food and stains all over it and then the king bed had stains on the blankets and a bug inside of the sheets. We went to the manager and explained everything show pictures. There was no remorse. All she said was she’s gonna go in the room while we had to go to a concert and leave so I couldn’t go to the room with her. They compensated me free parking. This does not satisfy me as I feel like we should’ve been more than that. At least a free meal when they’re dining or a couple drinks. No one ever said sorry; no one cared. The manager kept blaming that I booked through a third-party and that’s why they couldn’t do anything further.

The best was so comfy I did not want to leave. Centrally located between the football and baseball stadium. Lots of food choices nearby and the continental breakfast was great.

Everything was great. Service was excellent. The only bad part was no microwave in the room. Will definitely stay again.

Entire stay was amazing! Breakfast had tons of options, parking was right there on site, and we were even allowed early check in without a fee! Didn’t have time to use the pool but definitely would’ve had we gotten the time. Staff was very helpful and friendly!

Great location to baseball & football stadiums. Clean facilities, friendly staff, great service. Highly recommend!

The room was not what I booked. I did check in later. The suite did not have a microwave. The front staff was friendly. On the morning of my checkout, I went out for a walk and upon my return, the cleaning person had entered my room and began cleaning before I checked out of the room. When I went down to the desk, they did not seem as if that was problem. I did not press the issue, turned in my card and left. I will never stay there or recommend staying there.

Microwave not provided and unexpected parking charged $26. This is never communicated at the time of booking. Overall not good experience

Staff is fantastic. Location is great. The only issue is that the uber/lyft drivers won’t pick up or drop you off from the hotel when there are games going on. The secret from the front desk? Put your location in the river! Then when a driver picks up the ride give them the hotel address
