Hotel that met our expectations
Hotel very lively pity that there is not more animation in Italian

Before leaving we read the wildly varying previous reviews and were concerned and confused. We have just returned from a two week stay and the reason for the mixed reviews is obvious. We paid the extra to stay in' the Adults Only' which I can't recommend highly enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. However, having visited the non adukts only area of the complex, I can say that we would have hated it there. It was noisy and crowded, especially around the pool where the sunbeds literally touch each other side by side. Having said that, if you're with children it looked ideal. The pool, massive excess of very well spaced sunbeds, superior dining experience and overall more serene ambiance was well worth the extra expense. Pros.. Extremely clean rooms, wonderful staff throughout, good selection of food (I don't eat meat and my husband doesn't eat fish but we still had choices each mealtime), beautiful beach but footwear is advisable for the hot shingle, beautiful grounds which are meticulously maintained. Also liked the luggage was taken from the coach to our room on arrival and was collected from outside the building for departure. Cons. The location is isolated but you should know this before booking. Lacks a private lounge area. No opportunity to take a leisurely stroll along the seafront or to neighbouring towns, bars or shops. It is what it is and if you book knowing what you'll get, you won't be disappointed.

Despite there being a few things that did down our experience, the overall time was amazing! There was lots to do, such as biking, swimming, going to the beach and much more. Us brits are not really used to everything being 16+ , so if you are coming with under 16s, there are only a few activities they can do. The food was lovely, but it did seem a bit repetitive. Having the same food everyday was quite boring for an all inclusive resort. We were very disappointed at said ‘MAGIC night’ as the food was basically the same, and they just put up decoration. The deserts were delicious though. The cleaning was nice, yes, but the cleaner was very rude to my son by kicking and shoving him out the room when he was left alone. (He was 12). The pool bar had some nice things to do in the day, since the main restaurant wasn’t always open. The man who was generally stationed there (I didn’t catch his name) was very nice and had the best English as well. The pool was amazing but beware, the main activity pool is not heated, and gets absolutely freezing on cold days. There is a heated pool, but it is a small family one for little kids. The probable worst occasion was the fact that the kids club (7-9) happened in the bar. They would do dances and listen to music, yeah, but was very in the way and louder than needed. Considering they have their own playground and section, it was very annoying. May I mention that you can hear EVERYTHING. Whether it’s the other side of the resort, or the neighbouring room, you could hear it. Overall it was great, but a few things brought it down.

We had a wonderful stay in the private lodge section of the hotel, quality staff, accommodation, food and facilities. The beach is beautiful and the water very calm, even in October. The place is kept immaculately clean and the garden areas are very lovely. Our room was spacious and lots of storage space. We were lucky to have a ground floor food looking out over the gardens. These rooms are the sunniest and therefore brightest for sitting out on the patio. We ate at each of the speciality restaurants, the lodge was our favourite, however the buffet food was also of high quality and varied. Being near the end of the season, we had no difficulty in finding a sun bed by the pool or at the beach. In fact, we were spoilt for choice. If, like me you are not blessed with great height, the adult pool gets very deep very quickly so you may wish to bring a floatation help so you can talk with other guests without constantly paddling to keep afloat.

We are on our last day at this beautiful Hotel, it is beautifully clean and the grounds are large but meticulously maintained The staff are friendly and extremely helpful a special shout out to Anne Marie in the private lodge pool bar and the gentleman who served us our drinks every being in the private lodge bar ( didn’t catch his name ) were always friendly and helpful The food always really nice with themed evenings , the bootable restaurants are easier to book via guest services than the app, our favourite was the private lodge restaurant the food was lovely there They have a little cat hotel and they roam the grounds and do visit the restaurants so if you are a cat lover bring some dreamies or treats for them Pros clean and all staff very welcoming If you can upgrade to private lodge , definitely worth it quieter and always have plenty of sun beds , beautiful large grounds The rooms are spotless and cleaned daily with Fridges with soft drinks The walk to the beach in the evening the lit trees look stunning Cons In the middle of no where so don’t forget anything as the couple of shops of site don’t sell much of the things easily forgotten. If you are the type of traveller that wants to get out and about this hotel may not be for you There is a shuttle bus that goes in to the nearest town you can book at 10 euros per person I have stayed in other magic life hotels where the classes were planned early or late in the day and disappointed that many gym activities here are planned in the middle of the day when it’s too hot and you want to sit in the sun so didn’t do as many as I would have Finally the pillows are absolutely awful if you have the room bring your own , they are the most uncomfortable pillows I have ever had in a hotel That said I would still recommend this hotel to visit

This hotel was spotless, staff all very friendly. If you’re a cat fan, this is also the place to stay. Cats everywhere! No day went past where I didn’t feel welcome here! We stayed in the private lodge for 2 weeks. We were served every night by a gentleman called Caramire, private lodge barista/bartender. He was AMAZING. He talked to us about football, came over to just make us laugh and was always friendly and welcoming. Recommended drinks we’d never tried and now cannot stop drinking them. The barmaid who worked alongside him, (blonde lady) did not catch her name, always giggled with us and ensured we were having a good time. I couldn’t fault the service here. There is a wide range of activities and always something to keep you preoccupied. Overall a 10/10 holiday and would definitely come back to the resort again!

AMAZING RESORT! Beautiful place and lots of water slides in the kids splash park. The only thing is that, You see, I live in Newton Abbot, Devon, UK , And the TUI branch there said that it is like a 20 min walk from the resort to Pizzo town, But she lied . Well we believed her and we walked there on the beach we walked quite slowly and stopping sometimes so yours might be a little bit shorter but mine took 2 hours. Eventually we got to hot so we walked back to the resort again. That’s the only complaint I am going to report but I am definitely returning! Thanks a lot

TUI Magic life. I love it! We waren de eerste dag lichtjes ontgoocheld in het hoofdkussen. De dag erop was dit na het gesprek met de 'Guest Service' direct opgelost. Elke dag ben ik gaan fietsen en was er heel goede begeleiding. We zaten in de Private Lodge en Anna Maria van de bar is gewoon fantastisch! De TUI Magic life app is echt een meerwaarde.
