Just returned from here we had a fabulous time I don’t understand the bad reviews yes there was a couple of power cuts but they were seconds . It is Greece these things happen a lot I’ve been coming to Greece for 30 years. No big deal . The rooms are plenty big enough our family loved the water park and the swim up room 127 was brilliant very private . Hotel staff amazing especially Ouda on the snack bar . Food was delicious best all inclusive we’ve been to . We still ate out twice in Tsilivi as we like to do this . Bushi restaurant I would highly recommend and only 5 mins walk . Overall fabulous holiday will definitely return

Currently on our last day of a great 10 night holiday. We stayed in swim up room 101, we had shade in the morning and full sun all afternoon, the room was slightly smaller than family rooms I’ve stayed in previously but not a problem. The room was cleaned every morning and fresh sheets and towels daily. We mainly ate in the suites buffet restaurant and found the food really good and so much choice. It’s only small but never a queue and always got a seat straight away. We also went to the themed nights a few times which we enjoyed. There are snacks available to order at both bars in the suites and also at the entertainment bar (sandwiches, salads, burgers, hotdogs etc). There is a kids disco every night followed by a show and also bingo a couple of nights. The entertainment team worked really hard, there is also an arcade next to the entertainment venue which the kids enjoyed. The bar at the entertainment can get busy so we always ordered double the amount of drinks at once. Whatever time you turn up to the pools there are always sunbeds available, we used the water park, the hotel main pool and the suites pool. Towels are provided and can changed at either bars any time. There are a few wasps and ants about but the staff are constantly collecting glasses etc to prevent them and they didn’t really bother us. There is selection of shops and restaurants with a couple of minutes walk and also a small beach nearby with a bar providing free sun loungers, the beach is quite rocky but the sea is warm and shallow. We did book a trip for turtle spotting with Abba travel, this was ok but the transfer there was over an hour (longer than necessary, as the way home was half the time) and the boat wasn’t the best, I should have done more researching before booking this (obviously nothing to do with the hotel). I saw the review below mentioned going to a turtle rescue centre which I didn’t know about but sounds better. Staff are all amazing always helpful and work such long hours.

Great hotel we really loved our time at Aqua Bay Suites Room was clean and comfortable (kids sofa beds a little hard but I did ask them if they wanted an extra duvet under them and they said no so couldn’t have been too bad) We had a swim up which we loved. Room 107 so had sun from midday into the evening which worked for us as we liked the waterpark in the morning. The waterpark is great, make sure you check height requirements before so your kids know what slides they can go on. Lifeguards do check heights and I felt they were good with safety which is important to us. Food at the buffet offers lots of selection (I had to educate them to help with my son who is daily intolerant but they were very happy to help) Staff were great and always found happy to help us if we asked. I would suggest going to the turtle rescue centre, when you have been there you are unlikely to want to go on a turtle tour. The impact tourists are having on the turtle nests is terrible 😢 I would join the Facebook group to get real reviews from people and then you can chat to them to get true feedback

We stayed in room 118 (swim up) from 17th June for 7 nights as a family of 4, boys aged 7 & 12. We had a great time and would definitely return. The boys were constantly in the pool and it was definitely worth the upgrade. We had the sun on the terrace until approx 2pm but you could use the loungers opposite which had the sun until later Good points: Clean modern specious rooms Clean towels daily Good choice of food in buffet restaurant, my boys particularly liked the breakfast. Amazing food in the Italian & Mediterranean (al a carte), definitely book while there. Good choice of drinks, cocktails were made to order and would recommend the strawberry daiquiri Use of water park Bad points: Themed evenings - food was average and not a great choice so we would always return to the buffet at Aqua Bay. Buffet restaurant - limited space, tables quite close together Checkout is 11am so we paid €60 to keep the room on, and we were able to stay in the same room which was a bonus.

We visited Aqua Bay for a week in June with friends- our party was four adults and three boys aged 8-10. Stress-free check in process, with cases whisked away while welcome drinks were poured. Our room was perfect, with a huge bed in the main room, plus a comfy sofa-bed for our 10 year old son. This was in an area that could be divided off with sliding doors, which was a great alternative to having a physical wall/door as it meant we could enjoy a larger space during the day. Air conditioning was FANTASTIC! And an absolute God-send as it was 40 degrees for the first few days. Bathroom was very clean, with twin sinks and a huge shower. Loads of wardrobe/drawer space. Plenty of sockets. Two TV’s with the usual mix of random channels (we found the German Disney channel the most entertaining!). There was also a safe and a fridge, which was restocked daily with two large (sealed) bottles of water. Patio doors led out to a semi-private decking area with comfortable chairs, sun loungers, a table and a rack for drying towels/swimwear, which was a helpful touch. This joined the main decking around the pool. Which brings me to one of my favourite things about the design of Aqua Bay- the pools! The rooms are arranged in small two-storey ‘blocks’ which each have an accompanying pool. With about ten rooms in our building, it meant that things never got overcrowded in or around the pool. This seemed to be the case throughout the complex, even though it must have been fully booked. There is also a larger central pool with a calm corner section for the little ones. There seemed to be plenty of pool toys and inflatables to go around. I’m not sure if these are provided by the hotel or have been left behind by previous guests. Either way, the boys were delighted and spent most of the holiday in the water. The main restaurant was buffet style, serving a good selection, even for a fussy veggie like me. Plenty of space with seating indoors and out, but it could get a bit busy at breakfast, esp’ the toast queue. Oh, and expect to be visited by various cats if you choose an outdoor table! We had one evening meal at the A’la carte restaurant (near the water park) which was superb. The outdoor Bar also served hot and cold snacks, which were delicious. Next to this was a large airy day room which was a great place to curl up with a book when the sun got a bit much. The usual mix of dance music was played around most of the outdoor areas during the day, but was never too loud or annoying. Was turned off at a sensible hour too (9pm I think). The grounds are all very well maintained, with plenty of trees full of cicadas. In fact the cicadas are the first thing you’ll notice! They are a constant soundtrack to your stay, although you’ll tune them out almost straight away. We struggled to actually see one though, despite many attempts. I can’t comment on the evening entertainment as we never ventured out to see it. We did have an evening in the pool table /

The hotel was amazing we can’t fault it at all. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and cleaned daily. The location is perfect in a quiet area but just a short walk from the bars and shops. Perfect stay from start to finish.

Lovely hotel close to a beautiful beach. Kids loved the water park being next door. Food was fabulous, especially the restaurants. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We had a private pool which the kids loved. The beach was also lovely. We all had a great holiday. Only negatives were that alcoholic drinks were poor quality, there were restrictions around which pool you could use depending upon the room you were staying in and the list of dining options we were given on arrival didn’t include the sister hotels.

We enjoyed our holiday overall, the rooms were clean and the staff were nice enough. The food was nice, not exceptional but it was nice enough and it was hot. The drinks at the suites were definitely stronger than the ones at the water park so this was good. There is limited choice of foods for fussy eaters and my son are pizza and chips every day for lunch and dinner as this was all he liked. More options like chicken nuggets and plain vegetables for children would have been great. Some of the staff were nicer than others there's a lady that gave my son a high five every time when entering the restraunt was lovely and always smiling. Little complaint about late check out but not really the staffs fault. We tried booking late check out as our flight was at 9pm but couldn't until the night before. We were then told late the night before we couldnt keep our room and would have to move to a different room which wasn't ideal but we made it work. Although we enjoyed our stay we found there was something missing to make it extra special. There's minor adjustments/updates to the hotel and water park which could have made it better. There's a glass screen in front of the swim up rooms which looked grubby and spoiled photos. Other guests children would walk onto our terrace of the swim up pool and would take my sons inflatables from our terrace. The water park is a bit run down and could do with freshening up. The swim up room had sunbeds opposite so wasn't very private. However my son did make some friends there which was nice. The decking on the terrace looked like it could be re vanished and didn't look the nicest in the photos. The gardens were well maintained. Entertainment as the water park was awful. We went once and didn't bother going again. The entertainment staff walked around the hotels looking miserable with no smiling, greeting or trying to get people involved as they do in other resorts. They only seemed happy once they were actually doing the entertainment then looked miserable again once finished. The local area is nice and includes a good mini golf course which my son loved. We done tours with tui and with Abba and Abba was far superior. The your with tui seemed basic and my son was bored. Abba was amazing so would definitely recommend booking with them and they have a little booth not far from planos hotel entrance. Additionally, all swimswear worn in the swim up room pools is ruined and stained green. Overall we enjoyed but we would not return to this hotel.
