A most fantastic hotel and experience. The staff, decor, surroundings and ambience was a pleasure to the senses and a joy to be in and around during our stay. The room, luxuries, balcony views and facilities were of the highest standards and comfort. The breakfast was like a high end meal out every morning, with non of the hustle and bustle that one experiences in more budget hotels. The proximity and access to the seafront was almost immediate via a lovely stroll past the pools and through a pleasant and relaxing courtyard, which hosted a delightful restaurant that served excellent food and drinks. In summary, a most delightful hotel, location, staff and facilities that we couldn’t praise high enough. We will be back again next year to continue our dreamlike experience in this very special hotel, venue and location.

Lovely hotel, comfy beds, for a 5* it needs a few tweaks I think -Pool could be warmer, breakfast buffet could be slightly improved, some areas needs repair and some need updating a little. But overall a fantastic stay , great location and beautiful hotel. They even sent a cake and decorated the room for my husband’s birthday ( a free upgraded room would have been a nice touch tho’)

Excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff We used the a La carte restaurants for breakfast and dinner which were excellent and good value compared to the buffet Our only problem which was NOT a criticism was that it was cold at night in the hotel and restaurants We were kindly given a heater for our room

Holiday as grandparents with 9 month old granddaughter . Everything we needed was provided - cot , baby bath . Fabulous hotel on all fronts - huge rooms , great position of hotel as could walk to everything in Playa Blanca . Staff were the best we have encountered for a long time - all of them ! Nicely designed hotel with quiet areas as well as kiddy areas . Very comfy beds - always important and sometimes overlooked .

have been going to this hotel for 20 years, always have a brilliant time here. staff are outstanding, particularly mohammed in don giovannis who always makes us feel very welcomed, marcus the porter (all the porters really) who always are very friendly and kind. Spotless clean facilities and food is always amazing, especially isla de lobos. However, my family was disappointed that only a gala dinner was available for christmas day and new years eve rather than the normal restaurant food.

We had another (think the 7th) stay in this hotel which is the perfect getaway for a short trip around Christmas Eve. Staff professionality and friendliness are second to none, and the ample premises provide multiple options even in case of mixed weather.

We went with a family and young kids and it was ideal in every aspect for our family holiday. Great location for beach and short walk to marina and center.

We stayed again at the Yaiza during Xmas - we had a fabulous dinner at los Lobos restaurant. Pablo the head waiter was absolutely brilliant- he really went above and beyond to satisfy our expectations and time - the kids were keen to attend the mini Disco so their food came quick and early. Another mention is Vasco the head of reservation- he was absolutely fantastic to sorting out our reservations and he greeted personally upon arrival, last but not least Diego The managing Director- it was an absolute pleasure to dealing with and once again made our stay unforgettable. Stayed in this hotel many times before and it is as good as ever. The rooms are spacious and always clean. We had a junior suite with a sea view. The hotel was quite quiet as it was early December so there were plenty of sunbeds and places at breakfast. You cant beat the location of this hotel, close to the beach and midway between the marina and playa blanca. We were also there when the Christmas tree lights were switched on which was a bit different. Breakfasts were very varied, plenty of choice although some of it could be a bit hotter. I loved the papaya which was delicious with a glass of cava in the morning. We didnt eat lunch or dinner at the hotel, although we did buy some lucnh at the convenient supermarket across the road. We will be back.

Hotel is excellent colonial style with great staff, spotlessly clean, and in an excellent location between the marina and old town.

Spent 10 days B&B here, just before Xmas. As is well reported, the public areas of this hotel are spectacular. Add the amazing Christmas decor, complete with 40 ft tree and it is even better. There are fresh flowers everywhere; even in the public toilets. The hotel was quiet, and staff efficiency was excellent. Check in was really nice and the staff were very attentive. Breakfast: For a 5* this was bland, each day. The 'hot' food was either cold or tepid at best. (scrambled eggs, sausage (when available)) Sometimes we were shown to a table, other times not. It wasn't clear what the protocol was. The whole hotel was cold. At night most people wrapped up indoors. Our room was cold; when we had a 2 day storm, there was no option to heat it up. Entertainment: This was a very low key affair and was hosted just futher down from reception in the open area. This was completely unfit for purpose as big pillars blocked off most of the seats from the view of the artist. One of the artists was complaining how cold he was in the area and he got wrapped up before continuing with his performance. Pool areas: Only to say that, despite how quiet it was, very rarely did we see waiters coming round to take drink orders, which we thought was poor. Room: We were given a free upgrade to a suite with a sea view, for which we were grateful. The room however, was very tired looking. The Bathroom / shower in particular was well below standard for a 5* . On close inspection, the room was not that clean, with only the on view areas apparently cleaned regularly. In summary, this hotel has the potential and location to have it all. We, however, were left a bit disappointed in the areas I have outlined. It kind of flatters to deceive.

The kids’ amenities and camps are great. The staff at the kids’ camps are very nice. The soccer camp is super and was the highlight for our 6 year old son.

Stayed in Princesa Yaiza over Christmas period. We are returning to the hotel mainly due to the excellent Futball School.
