We stayed in Apartment 18 at Coloradamar Bungalows and had a fantastic experience. The bungalow itself was very large—much more spacious than we expected—and the highlight was definitely the huge terrace. It offered sea views and was the perfect place to relax throughout the day. The entire property is extremely clean and well-maintained. In terms of location, there are a few good restaurants just a two-minute walk away, which is very convenient. It is about a 20-minute walk to the Marina, but be aware that it is a very hilly route, so it might be a bit of a workout for some! Thankfully, transport is very easy if you want to skip the hills. There is a bus stop right outside the property, and it only costs 1 Euro 20 cents for a one-way trip into town. Overall, it’s a brilliant place to stay if you want plenty of space and a great view.

If you read the reviews for the bungalows all I can say I agree well maintained lots of space everything you need for the perfect holiday we booked a jacuzzi room and it was not overlooked and a short walk to the pool that was very quiet lots of loungers and umbrellas except a French couple who thought it necessary to put their towels on loungers as there were only usually three or four people at the pool was stupid but bad habits die hard. My only criticism is the beds they are so hard second day in went to reception told them and two mattress toppers were put on our beds happy days after that. We would definitely recommend it’s at the quieter end of playa blanca and suits us but the walks are easy to Marina Rubicón which we visited the weather was so cold had to buy fleeces to keep warm only fetched a couple of cardigans for evening. Would we come to Lanzarote again and the answer is no nothing is worth the airport hassle we stood in a queue for 2 hours and then another hour on the coach waiting for passengers when we booked our holiday sept 2025 nothing was mentioned about border controls only it kept being delayed on the role out, we go home today and I’m dreading a similar performance to leave. May revisit when it settles down but with the awful weather and border crossing it doesn’t feature in the foreseeable.

Just returned from a lovely stay at LIVVO Coloradamar Apartments in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, and would definitely recommend it. The apartments are spacious, clean, and really well laid out, with everything you need, it's like home from home. The private terrace was a great bonus. We had the jaquzzi plus and was well worth it, with sun loungers and seating, plus a BBQ. There's also a free, safe, and air conditioning - along with a free bottle of wine on arrival. The complex itself is spotless, peaceful, and well maintained. There is a small shopping complex very near also. The location is excellent — quite and about a good 20 min short walk to Marina Rubicón, where there are plenty of great restaurants, bars, and shops. It’s also close to the coastal path, which is perfect for a stroll along the seafront. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They booked an excursion for us. The pool area was lovely and clean, but despite the weather, we chose to stay in our huge patio area. It’s a great option if you want somewhere quieter than the main centre of Playa Blanca but still within easy reach of everything.

What a lovely complex of 32 individual villas with an excellent outdoor area and pool which is kept very clean and well maintained. The villas each come with their own patio area, table and chairs and a couple of sun loungers, which seems to take any pressure off the poolside ones. Situated in Coloradamar at the western end of the Avenida Maritimo it is about 20 minute walk into the Rubicon Marina area and the same again into Playa Blanca old town. If you don’t fancy the walking the no 30 bus end it’s circular journey outside the complex and runs every half hour to the other end of the Avenido at Faro Park, all for the princely sum of 1.40 euro. This is very much a peace and quiet job, there is no entertainment or bar facilities, in fact the whole of Coloradamar is the peaceful part of the town. Apart from the beaches in the centre of PB, there is Papagayo beach 20 mins from the complex which is very nice but the walk is some 20 minutes and over rough steep ground. The shopping complex over the road has a small supermarket and some excellent bars and restaurants, Alfie’s Bar, was our favourite, a special mention to Simple and Natural who do great coffee and breakfasts. So why all this praise and not 5 stars, quite simply the beds were awful, hard and uncomfortable, we asked for toppers to try and make them bearable but were basically ignored, in the end we had to buy our own from the town. Would I book for next year, well yes but only if the sleeping problems could be guaranteed to be solved

After a bit of an issue when arriving here - arrived in the dark, reception closes at 3 pm but eventually got through to the number on reception door and got the code for the gate and our bungalow. We were very impressed, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large terrace and our own sunbeds. Well equipped kitchen and so spacious for holiday accommodation - we loved it. A few yards from our front door was the pool. Very quiet around the pool, we used the sunbeds on our terrace as presumably did most people. We had a complimentary bottle of wine and 2 large bottles of water. Very helpful assistants in reception. There are a few bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk the best one being Funchal ,(near the supermarket) where they serve tapas and the biggest steaks we've ever seen! Rubicon Marina is lovely and further down the coast is the main '*****' with numerous restaurants and bars and the usual holiday gift shops. You can get the bus outside the hotel to these areas and its about 3 euros a couple so easy to get around. Would highly recommend this accommodation and we'll be looking for similar in other resorts in the future having usually gone all inclusive it was nice to have the freedom of self catering. It's a quieter area of playa blanca but that suited us, wasn't too keen on the busy area at the other end. Had a lovely week here and would highly recommend it. If the hotel reads this review my suggestion to them would be to email people who are arriving later in the day to explain how to access the gate etc as when you arrive in the dark it is a bit worrying/confusing.

What a gem! A lovely place to stay, very clean, quiet & calm, great location. I write reviews like id like to have read so here goes. Firstly, reception is open 0900-1500hrs so if you arrive outside of this (we did) then do not even attempt to carry your luggage up the steps to reception....you'll carry them back down again otherwise. We didnt get any communication from Jet2 (apparently we should have?) to tell us that we would need to ring a number to arrange entrance. It was easy enough, sign on the wall and then the lady whatsapped us instructions to our room - the next day I then checked in properly. We were very thankful for the 2l bottle of water chilling in the fridge as it was 2230hrs when we got there, no shops open due to the time and we had no water left. Thank you so much for that gesture! Apartments are lovely! We had a bali plus one. 2 bedrooms (no need for daughter to sleep on a sofa bed yay), bathroom for her and ensuite for us with walk in shower. Air con in both bedrooms and it was very powerful. Every window has a curtain and also a black out blind behind it! Safe included for no extra cost. Kitchen has 2 ring hob, full size fridge and freezer. Microwave (presume just that and not a microwave grill, never used it so couldnt say), kettle, toaster and a coffee machine (no pods, never used it). Full accompliment of equipment too - pans, frying pan, grill tray (which made me question the microwave as there was no oven so I was curious why there'd be a metal tray), colander, bottle opener, (I didnt note if a tin opener so sorry about that), no scissors, I did note that, sharp knives, bread knife, cutlery, crockery, glassware, 1 egg cup (I fashioned another out of the egg box), even tea towels x2 (and these were changed daily), sponge and dish soap. Outside we had a little nook with a sink, mop, bucket and broom, and a large washing line. Out the rear of the apartment we had a semi enclosed garden area with a patio with a canopy above, table and chairs and 2 x sun loungers. Access via living room and both bedrooms. Best of all an allocated bali bed that was (for us, room 31) right outside our apartment! I think there are 6 or 7 bali beds in total - they have the room number above them so theres no question as to who theyre for. As others have said, the pool area is so so quiet! Barely anyone around. We were there for 10days (the latter part being the school holidays for the UK) and it was still quiet. Maybe saw 6 people a day tops there. Pool isn't heated, seems quite standard for Lanzarote we've found but it wasnt cold. There's also a jacuzzi too which is lovely. Not heated either but it never felt brassic getting into it and once you'd been in there it was a doddle getting into the pool. Showers are dotted around the pool as well. Every room either has an allocated bali bed or is guaranteed to have 2 sun loungers (though these are not allocated, so you can pick whatever ones you want). The pool gets the sun ALL day long :-) Bali

Fantastic apartments. Great base as you are only a short trip on the bus from the main areas of Playa Blanca. Staff were so lovely and helped whenever we needed them. Supermarket and couple of bars/restaurants across the road which are easy to get to using the bottom gates in the complex. Very quiet when we visited which was due to time of year but it was bliss. Only problem we had was the beds. Very hard and extremely uncomfortable and we both came home craving our own beds. Wouldn't stop us coming back though

We have just returned from 6 nights at Coloradamar and can't fault it. It really was the most peaceful few days! We were arriving late and I knew reception closed at 3pm so I emailed that morning and got check in details. We reported to reception the following morning to check in. I could not get over the size of the bungalow and it was spotless. Kitchen had everything you needed. We had breakfast and lunch everyday in the bungalow and dinner once. The terrace was lovely, we were in Bungalow 11 with its own jacuzzi, just above the pool area. We loved the whirlpool, a coffee in there in the morning was the perfect start to the day. The pool area was great, so nice for there to be no sunbed wars, there was never a day we couldn't get one, even going down at 2pm. Our 8 year old loved the pool and had it to herself a lot of the time. The location is perfect if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle. A supermarket and some bars 5 mins away, a larger supermarket 10 mins away or a 20 min walk or 5 min bus to the Marina. The little beach down the road is lovely and quiet but take pool shoes as it's a bit rocky. There is a tennis court you can hire with rackets and balls - our 8 year old had a fun morning doing this. All staff encountered were friendly and the whole place is kept very clean. We loved it so much we intend to come back next year!

Our first time in Playa Blanca and the bungalow did not disappoint! We stayed in no.5 (jacuzzi plus) which is 2 bed, 2 bath. It was very clean and spacious! The pool area is beautiful and always enough sunbeds. The lady on reception (didn’t get her name) was very friendly and helpful and we even met one of the cleaners and she was lovely too! There is a great little centre 5 mins walk away with bars, a supermarket, gift shop, cafe and take away. We frequently strolled to the Marina which took us about 25 mins (we took our time taking in the views along the way). There’s a bus stop right outside with a regular bus service and cheap fares! If it’s peace and relaxation you want then this is definitely the place for you. I know I will definitely be returning!
