Stayed here from 14 Feb to 28th for my 60th birthday and can honestly say we had a fantastic time. The first week we stayed in a ground floor pool view room which was spacious and adequate for our needs, however the second week we upgraded to the vanilla suite which was huge,having its own living room, double rainfall showers, large bed the good thing was also having the choice of pillows, and your own sunbeds, table and chairs and jacuzzi on a very large balcony. At the end of our 1st week we had a sandstorm which the receptionist at the hotel said it was the worst they had ever witnessed so massive credit to the cleaning staff and the pool maintenance man and any other staff members who cleaned it all up in a couple of days we'll done all of you. This is a smallish hotel compared to some that we stay in but all the staff are very friendly. I would like to thank all at vanilla Garden for making my birthday a one I will remember. Definitely recommended.

H10 CONQUISTADOR – WHY STAY ANYWHERE ELSE ? My wife and I only stay at the H10 Group Hotels in Tenerife because of the high standards and great choice of cuisine and friendly staff. We consider the H10 Conquistador to be the best hotel of all. We always have the Privilege Service upgrade which gives us all inclusive access to all bars (top shelf drinks) and all restaurants. The H10 Conquistador is very well situated just a 10 minute walk to the Safari Centre and the hotel has rear access straight onto the promenade and near to the beach. The choice of dining is outstanding and includes the new Dinner Show Senses Restaurant, the Asian Sakura Teppanyaki Restaurant, Italian La Vita è Bella Restaurant, American Steak House Restaurant, Tajinaste Buffet restaurant and specialist café Mike’s Coffee. Senses is an in-house full theatre and the various dinner shows (which are included) are amazing. There is also a Sport Bar. There is a full programme of entertainment for the whole family but if you want quiet time then that is not a problem. The entertainment staff are fantastic and work hard to ensure all ages are well entertained. The Despaccio Thalassa Centre is a top quality spa and offers a wide range of treatments by professional and friendly staff. Privilege Service offers exclusive Rooms and Services and an exclusive sundeck and hot tub with exclusive sea views. There is also a Privilege lounge with alcoholic and soft drinks and tea and coffee. The Hotel has several pools including adult, family and childrens pools. They are very well maintained and the pool staff are very diligent. In order to prevent the “dawn towel brigade” the sunbeds are not accessible until around 8am. Even then if people reserve sunbeds and leave them unattended their towels will be removed and folded and left on the pool man’s special sunbed for collection. There are plenty of sunbeds to accommodate everyone. The Lobby and Pool bars are the main bars. The Pool bar has very efficient staff who also provide waiter service in the evenings. In the rare event of bad weather the lobby bar includes several areas with numerous sofas and chairs and tables where you can chill out or catch up with friends or play cards. There is a Piano Bar which also acts as an area for indoor entertainment. There is a small shop where you can get newspapers and gifts and some toiletries. A room is available on the ground floor to leave and charge electric wheelchairs. For anyone needing a wheelchair I would highly recommend Jose Mobility for providing a good quality electric wheelchair on my last three holidays and being so helpful. My wife and I have just finished a 2 week stay and have also booked to return in May 2020 and October 2020. We are really looking forwards to going back to this fabulous hotel. As always we found all the staff to be friendly and helpful and ready to help in any way they can to ensure you enjoy your holiday.

Travelled as two friends wanting a relaxing holiday in the sun. Hotel is wonderful, from the moment you arrive and are warmly greeted at reception to the moment you leave. Good bits Staff - everywhere are friendly, helpful and superb, can’t fault them. Rooms - very clean and well appointed. We had one with two bedrooms and a living room; really the second bedroom is for kids but did us fine. There is a second TV in kids bedroom which has a DVD player in it. Useful to bring some dvds for the kids as TV channels only get BBC world which was fine for us. Our bungalow 130 was superb, and closest to pool and bar so for friends travelling perfect! And no, not a noisy place to be either. Food - selection and quality for what Is technically a three star hotel is superb, just as good as the four star Marylanza Suites (which is also an excellent hotel, albeit more expensive) up the road where I stayed last year. Excellent breakfasts, even had English sausages! Restaurant has a very good sized covered outdoor area too to eat at which is nice. Not very noisy at all either, probably because very few English there, mainly Scandinavians who seem so much better behaved. Bars - only one main bar really next to restaurant. Staff superb, range of drinks ok, but local wine is a little sharp. There is a ‘bar salon’ down some stairs from reception where the evening entertainment is. Pools - two pool areas, both with a larger one and a smaller kids one. We preferred one next to bar/restaurant. Not only more convenient but appears a little nicer. The pool is a little salt watery, not that you’ll really notice it, and properly heated. Wonderful place to relax! Plenty of sun loungers around the pool. Towels are free once you’ve given a 15 euro deposit and can be changed everyday via the lifeguard. Activities etc - spa small entertainment team do all they can to provide some fun stuff for the kids and aqua aerobics for the grown ups etc. Lots of facilities for young families, great play area, kids club, small contained Astro turf football pitch etc, all well kept and used. Very child friendly, will definitely consider bringing my two young ones back next time. The room keys! What a great idea, you get the standard wristband (different colours for room only to fully inclusive), and on them a small plastic card which opens your door. No need to remember your key, it’s with you all the time. what a really great idea, hopefully this will become the norm. Clientele - I have to say, but how nice that there were so few British people here. Main,y Scandinavians, all very nice and well behaved. Why can’t we be more like them when abroad? Not so good/tips V little to say here. Evening entertainment is somewhat mediocre, was much better at Marylanza. They do have a singer/musician from time to time in evenings on small stage too in outdoor restaurant area. Unfortunately the level of talent wasn’t really worth pursuing with... First room was appalling, ceiling falling down in 5 places plus a large crack, the wardrobe too narrow to hang clothes straight, a chunk of plaster out of the wall, a badly cracked sink in the bathroom and multiple chips out of the bath, mismatched tiles in the entrance which were left proud of the floor and the bathroom ceiling badly damaged. When we asked to be moved we were offered a tiny room with only a 15" gap between the bed and the wall, a single narrow wardrobe of which half the space was taken up by the safe and a room which was totally unsuitable for a person with mobility issues. We also had reservations about the food in the restaurant. There was no variety in hot food, both hot displays containing the same meals. After complaining to our Jet 2 representative, she notified her manager and action was taken which resulted in a suitable room change. Managers visited the restaurant and there was a notable improvement in speciality cooking. Once the comlaints had been actioned, we settled down to enjoy our holiday! There are many pluses at this hotel but also some negatives. The room cleaning could be improved, there is thick dust under both the bed and luggage shelf, the floor is never properly washed and the balcony is seldom cleaned. On the plus side, the hotel staff are very friendly from reception through to dining room staff and especially the animation team. The hotel pool is kept spotless and enjoys full sun all day. It is a good size and there are plenty of loungers for everyone. The animation team provide a good range of activities during the day and on some evenings. The evening entertainment varied greatly, some was excellent others less so. It was a great pity that the shows only lasted an hour. The grounds of the hotel were well maintained, both the gardens and public areas. However the hotel is a good way away from the beach with a steady incline and not suitable for anyone with mobility problems but there is plenty of provision within the hotel and grounds with slopes and lower ground lift access for disabled guests. We experienced a lot of noise from the guest in the next room but our complaint was acted upon immediately and the guest moved. Overall my husband and I would return to the hotel assuming the improvements have been maintained.

Came here in Feb half term 2020 great resort for children ,pool excellent with lots of inflatables provided always room on the sun beds very clean and well supervised.Food good plenty of choice ,but make sure you get your dessert first and put it on your table ,very child friendly special area for small children to choose their own .all inclusive drinks good ,ice cream available for children from about 10.30 am then all day .Take your own pool towels as they charge you per towel per day to hire with a deposit we fell foul of this never had to hire per day before .All inclusive free pass to Siam Park via a free shuttle bus pass lasts all week shuttle bus 9.30 and 12.30 going pick 4.30 takes you to the beach as well .We went by taxi to the beach as 9.30 was too early stayed all day you have to hire beach beds for the day and parasol . The hotel is a bit out on a limb not very near shops but the hotel does have a small supermarket .We went in a taxi to Playa las America to walk around the shops .Our room was brilliant two story ,kitchenette ,two bedrooms ,two bath rooms ,roof top solarium,and wrap around balcony ,kitchenette has a hot plate ,microwave ,fridge ,kettle ,we only used the fridge and kettle as we were all inclusive.Take as much of your toiletries and sun screen as possible very expensive in shop .You don’t need pool toys .All staff very friendly,dining room staff brilliant .On check out day your room is locked at about 11.50 am so beware .overall a s excellent holiday would go back with family but not as a couple or single .
