Reviews of Hacienda Real del Caribe Hotel

This hotel is perfectly located on a block away from the main strip. You can hear the music carry over from nearby bars but that didn’t bother me, it’s expected in a location like this. Upon checking in they give you a tv remote and tell you not to move the thermostat. The AC was fixed to run all night and did not have an automatic feature, so it made for extremely cold nights. The reason I lowered the rating is the customer service. You are given only two towels and there was no hand towels at all. I tried calling the front desk but nobody answered the 6 times I called. I had to go down and grab one myself where I was asked to sign one out. No big deal. However, the following day housekeeping took this towel and never replaced it. I hope I don’t get charged for a small hand towel

I stayed here because I wanted to go to Escalator in Xcaret. It was a great location, close to Xcaret! The hotel staff were kind. The hotel had a lovely courtyard. The sea was also close by. There was a lively street nearby, and plenty of shopping and dining options. The shower had a steady supply of hot water, which was very much appreciated on a cold day. It was also just a short walk from Ado Bus Terminal, so it was very convenient.

Good location in the city center of Playa, close to all activities and it's not expensive. Clean well and room service very active and on time.
