Cocktails at the first pool by the restaurant are absolutely amazing, Dina who served me and my parter is extremely friendly and the best bartender I’ve ever had, this hotel is superb and the staff are extremely helpful with any worries or issues you have, why they’re not 5 starts I do not know

Was absolutely thrilled with our holiday at the sol Barbacan from the time we arrived. The room was 1st class. Maid service excellent everywhere spotless. All the staff really friendly. The girls on reception there names were Davillia and jaydy hopefully got the names right were so helpful and lovely loved everything about our holiday would definitely recommend this hotel worth a five star

We have just returned from a week at this lovely hotel! The staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful I have ever encountered on holiday! Our rooms were clean and spacious, lots of storage! Pool areas were spotless and you could always get a sunbed! There are not lots of English families staying here but I think that is part of its charm, there are varied nationalities and everyone is very friendly! It’s location is perfect for the shops bars and restaurants. The only one tiny thing that lets it down is the evening entertainment it’s quite basic and is in a small bar area that gets quite busy but we were out most evenings anyway so it didn’t matter to us anyway! We will definitely be back soon! Thank you Sol Barbican!

That is our 4th time staying in Sol Barbacan as couple and the family. This time it was family vacation and again never disappointed! Staff always welcoming and try to do their best to accommodate your needs. Rooms always clean as well as all surroundings. Breakfast buffet you spoiled for choice! The rest of the meals lovely too. We decided to hang around resort more often this time rather then going out and had a fabulous time. Thank you to all for another fabulous holiday. We will be back! We stayed here for 11 nights bed and breakfast in a 2 bedroom apartment (479) 8th-19th June. All the staff were brilliant, very friendly and very helpful. Breakfasts were very good and had lots of choice omelettes were very good. Poolside snacks were very good also and the tapas menu was very good. We had a meal in El Portalon restaurant which was lovely, not too expensive either. No problems getting a sunbed through the day either. The rooms were spacious and the balcony was huge with sunbeds. Hotel very clean. If I had to pick fault with the room it would be lack of plugs beside beds and air con wasn’t brill in the main bedroom. Entertainment on every night in the Portalon lounge. We managed to get a late checkout as well as our transfer wasn’t until 18:30 which meant you could hang around the pool all day. Loads of restaurants near by and taxi rank across the road, 4 euros to the beach where there are a lot more restaurants and bars.

There is a lot to like about the Sol Barbacan. We stayed for a week in a lovely bungalow with our own private roof terrace and next to the pool. It was lovely, really spacious and immaculately clean. The grounds are impeccable, and I didn’t meet a single grumpy staff member! All the staff meet you with a hello and a smile. Great breakfast buffet and pool bar and lunch very reasonable and tasty Shout out to Max in the animation team, a star in the making and the lovely tall blonde lady who worked in the pool bar and restaurant (sorry I didn’t catch her name). This is our second visit and we will be back. Thanks for a great holiday!
