Apartamentos Montemar

We stayed at Themis Beach Hotel for: 7 nights in July 2025. 2 rooms, all-inclusive It was supposed to be a relaxing family vacation. It turned into a nightmare :( No air conditioning for 3 full days — not in the rooms, lobby, or restaurant. Reception kept lying: “you’ll feel it cooling soon” — never happened. Rooms cleaned only twice in a whole week. Pool bar staff mocked us with rude comments and eye-rolling. No sunbeds or shade at the pool after 11 AM. No staff around to help. Towels and safes cost extra. Beach access not included. Dining hall trays left empty during meals. Very poor food management. On our last night, we had to sleep on the beach — our son couldn’t breathe from the heat in the room. Worst of all: the hotel manager refused to speak with us. Just waved us away. They offered us 2 free drinks as “compensation.” It was insulting. This hotel should not be listed as a 4-star property. Avoid at all costs.

Arrived Christmas day and checked in with ease. We were given a large bottle of water, a bottle of red wine and cava. The apartments are spacious and well equipped although we ate out and only used basic equipment for toast and coffees etc. The balcony is what makes the place with beautiful sea views. The road outside can be very noisy so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The apartments location is fabulous close to beach, bars and restaurants. The staff we very helpful booking us taxis from the apartment and offered us a lower floor room as my elderly dad was travelling with us. The apartments have no lift.
