Bungalows Los Almendros - Exclusive Vacation Club

A wonderfully well run complex with a superb pool area !! Great bar with food. The bungalows are well equipped and the recent refurbishments make a great improvement on their former selves !! The housekeeping team do a remarkable job and keep the bungalows pristine - cleanliness is utterly faultless. Don’t expect a loud rowdy environment - this is a quiet resort where you can actually relax in peace Shopping is close by as the Cita Centre is across the road !! Would we stay again —— of course we would !!

For my birthday in March we flew from Aruba to Gran Canaria, this was our first time in GC. We stayed at Los Almendros and we had a wonderful time. The bungalows with private terrace, are completely up to date, everything was spotless clean and the property looked very neat. The staff was very friendly, we had rented a car, but we did not need it, everything is within easy walking distance, opposite Cita and Yumbo less than 10 minutes walk, close to the dunes. All kinds of good restaurants in the area. But also at Los Almendros itself you can have a good lunch and drink delicious drinks. We are already planning to come back in November, this time for a longer holiday. sunny greetings Auke & Mike

The bungalows have been modernised since our last stay and we were impressed with the results. All new furniture and new kitchens have been installed to make the rooms feel much more up to date. The huge bed was super comfy and we both slept like logs every night! The staff are so friendly and welcoming especially Vasco from reception and Mike the incredibly funny barman who had us in fits of laughter.

I sinply love this place Tidy and clean rooms, very nice ambiente, the staff is awesome and polite. You can buy all the stuff you need on the oppisite side of the street. Nice pool, nicer whirpool. Not sooo crowded and a perfect place to relax ;)

Great bungalow complex. Nice rooms, great pool area, friendly staff and nice cleaning. The place has just been renovated but can still do with some improvements. The gym is very worn out and the crosstrainer does not work. The kitchen could do with a pair of scissors and a bit more of plates, glasses etc. It would be great with a water heater in the shower by the sauna so you could use that in case of late check out. It would also be nice to only allow smoking in certain places like in the lounge by the poolbar and not All over the pool area. The pool chairs are blocked early in the morning and sometimes in the middle of the night when people get home. On several occasions they were not used before late afternoon or not at all. But overall a great place.

Reception staff lovely and a great welcome to the complex. But even regarding the cheaper prices, the bungalows are very tired, and need some money on the interiors. We had a nightmare with cockroaches in the shower, they were coming in through the shower attachment to the wall, and it took an eternity to get someone to come, and when an engineer did he came with a cockroach spray. Our neighbours bungalow had the same problem. No apology or cleaning afterwards and we felt pretty awful after. I asked about filling the gaps around the tiles and shower attachment on google translate as the engineer or plumber didn’t speak English and he just shrugged his shoulders. Not even an apology from the bungalow team. A shame as it’s normally cheap and cheerful complex. The barman wasn’t really friendly, the bar shuts early and the hot tub isn’t hot, or even warm. After our 4th visit, it’s our last.
