Have stayed here many times before and always have an enjoyable stay. There have been some considerable improvements, especially the pool area and the poolside bar which stays open until 11pm (weather permitting). If raining the pool bar closes and entertainment is provided in the sports bar inside the hotel instead. For me the location is excellent and I only left the hotel 3 times to go to the supermarket, everything I needed was there. I have found the staff to be very friendly, from the chambermaids, receptionist, bar staff and restaurant staff. If you interact with them then they reciprocate, 3 or 4 members of staff were particularly nice to me as a solo traveller and always took time to talk to me, especially at mealtimes. They all received a tip from me when I left. The rooms were serviced 5 out of 7 days and always to a great standard. All public areas are well cleaned. I was fortunate enough to have a ground floor room with a terrace overlooking the children's pool. The rooms are not perfect but thy are in the process of being refurbished. They advertise no air conditioning so not sure why so many negative comments about it not having aircon ! There were a few cockroaches about, but this is to be expected. There is some noise from the bars opposite but you expect that in a place like this, I expect staying close to the Jumbo centre is even worse. I found it to be great value for money, I was all inclusive for 14 days and found the food to be excellent (and certainly not the same every day as some suggest). There is always a salad bar, hot food counters, cold food counter with meats and cheeses and another cold food counter for desserts. There is something for everyone and if not to your liking then you must be a very fussy eater. The inclusive drinks package was excellent. San Miguel was the beer, red wine, white wine, Sangria, Pepsi, Pepsi Max,2 x Fanta The house vodka was enjoyable and not like rocket fuel that you get at some places. I was certainly not disappointed with the drinks on offer. A couple of time I did treat myself to a bottle of wine at dinner... and only 10 euros for a very nice bottle of Rose wine. There was entertainment every evening which everyone seem to enjoy and was a great atmosphere. I am already looking to book for next February.

I stayed for two weeks at this hotel and this was my personal experience. There was minimal interaction with the hotel staff in my case, but I had no issues on that part. As long as you respect them, they will return the courtesy. They did seem to appreciate attempted conversation in Spanish! The rooms could do with some improvements such as air conditioning/a fan, more kitchen utensils and applications (eg. scissors, better quality knives, microwave). For ventilation, I suggest leaving the windows and door open where possible. The small outdoor space (via ground floor rooms) allows sunbathing on two lounge chairs, and there is also a table with chairs provided. The pools are filled with salt water instead of chlorinated water which I also liked. Upon entering the room on my first night, I was faced with a few roaches - this is where the sweeper provided helps you. However, my only main concern was based around one common complaint - the noise. I had requested a quiet room, however despite being granted such, I found myself struggling to sleep some nights due to inconsiderate individuals giggling and shouting down the hallways and outside space throughout the night. In the distance, nearby bars also frequently play music at loud volume past midnight, further stressing the point. This wasn't an issue every night from my area at the back, only a few. If you're looking to have a quiet sleep, expect noise in your surroundings and ensure you have earbuds in preparation. If you're someone who tends to be a bit loud at times, please be mindful of those trying to sleep at night. The location is good as you're positioned quite close to the coast as well as the main areas. There are some nice surrounding views of the mountains on your travels, as well as rocky beaches towards San Agustín. You also don't have to worry too much about supplies as there are many stores around the hotel. The closest one is a HiperDino opposite the hotel front across the road. I can't comment on the food within the hotel as I was self-catering, but I have heard that it's okay. In terms of entertainment within the premises, you have a fair amount to do. A few examples consist of - a gym (charges daily, weekly and monthly), an inside bar in case the outdoor bar is closed, a small convenience store based in the main hall near the entrance, a self service laundrette (5€ for wash, 5€ for dry), a nail and hair salon, pools, and sometimes weekly events. I heavily advise to dry clothes outside as the heat dries them quite quickly. There is also a cigarette and vending machine in the reception area. Upon checkout, there is a storage room where you can keep your luggage until your coach arrives for the airport. This door is kept locked when not in use. Overall, it's a good hotel if you're not too fussed. if you're travelling around and likely to spend minimal time in the hotel, then consider it an ideal location. I definitely recommend requesting a quiet room for one of your three r

There are positives. The staff are all wonderful, check in quick and easy. The food is good, always a great variety and they really made an effort when we were there on Halloween. The pools are clean and the one we went to near the pool bar had clearly been renovated. The pools were all well looked after. There was no fuss about sun loungers, there were plenty. The all inclusive is decent, cocktails are spirits and a mixer chucked into a plastic cup and snacks at the bar are not included. There is a shop in the hotel and a supermarket opposite. The downside for us was our room. It was frankly grotty, dated, and not what we were expecting. We knew there was no air con but it made sleeping uncomfortable and because of the noise of the bars opposite, the windows had to remain shut. The windows were high up in the room and this contributed to the overall cell-like feel of the room. There was a kitchenette but I wouldn't have been too optimistic about producing a meal. The look of the hotel from the outside is very unappealing too, every other hotel is painted white and the Jardin del Atlantico is grey, Cell Block H style. This theme continues in the restaurant which I think has been recently renovated but it is grey breezeblock, really not conducive to a nice meal. We wouldn't go back.

Right! Where to start. This hotel has received many bad reviews. In my opinion, wrongly. Firstly the negative around no air con. It's specified there is no air con, so don't complain when there isn't any! 🙄 Secondly the poor selection and awful food. Rubbish. Theres a brilliant selection and it was all delicious. Thirdly staff are unhelpful and rude. They aren't. Yes the rooms are basic, yes parts are a little run down. But overall we found the hotel brilliant and will be returning in the future. If you book with a budget, don't expect The Ritz. But for the price, this hotel is exceptional.

When I booked this hotel I wasn’t expecting much but wow I was surprised hotel clean kind helpful friendly staff the rooms are lovely of a good size the shower is amazing. The location was next to a few pubs which was playing music till 1 am but we was never in really the only negative I have regarding the hotel is storage for 3 people was poor and also the tv in the bedroom is on a swinging bracket which is next to the wardrobe you could easily banged your head but overall lovely accommodation.
