Have stayed here many times before and always have an enjoyable stay. There have been some considerable improvements, especially the pool area and the poolside bar which stays open until 11pm (weather permitting). If raining the pool bar closes and entertainment is provided in the sports bar inside the hotel instead. For me the location is excellent and I only left the hotel 3 times to go to the supermarket, everything I needed was there. I have found the staff to be very friendly, from the chambermaids, receptionist, bar staff and restaurant staff. If you interact with them then they reciprocate, 3 or 4 members of staff were particularly nice to me as a solo traveller and always took time to talk to me, especially at mealtimes. They all received a tip from me when I left. The rooms were serviced 5 out of 7 days and always to a great standard. All public areas are well cleaned. I was fortunate enough to have a ground floor room with a terrace overlooking the children's pool. The rooms are not perfect but thy are in the process of being refurbished. They advertise no air conditioning so not sure why so many negative comments about it not having aircon ! There were a few cockroaches about, but this is to be expected. There is some noise from the bars opposite but you expect that in a place like this, I expect staying close to the Jumbo centre is even worse. I found it to be great value for money, I was all inclusive and found the food to be excellent (and certainly not the same every day as some suggest). There is always a salad bar, hot food counters, cold food counter with meats and cheeses and another cold food counter for desserts. There is something for everyone and if not to your liking then you must be a very fussy eater. The inclusive drinks package was excellent. San Miguel was the beer, red wine, white wine, Sangria, Pepsi, Pepsi Max,2 x Fanta The house vodka was enjoyable and not like rocket fuel that you get at some places. I was certainly not disappointed with the drinks on offer. A couple of time I did treat myself to a bottle of wine at dinner... and only 10 euros for a very nice bottle of Rose wine. There was entertainment every evening which everyone seem to enjoy and was a great atmosphere. I am looking forward to my next visit in October.

We booked a week half board in the Easter holidays with Tui. When booking Tui advertised this hotel as being fully refurbished so look out for the new trip advisor reviews. So as the reviews came through I was really worried. At the end of the day a holiday is what you make of it & we had a brilliant time. The receptionist was really helpful in getting us quiet rooms & helping us with days out. The newly refurbished pools out the back were great, we have older teenage kids so didn't use the splash park but it looked fun. The food was good, not the best selection we have had in the evening but always something tasty, we never had trouble getting a table & breakfast was brilliant. Not sure if all inclusive would be beneficial at this hotel but half board was perfect & water was included in the evening meal, drinks were reasonably priced. Plenty of sun beds at any time of day, we found one of the older pools next to the mini golf to be the warmest, I would think it was heated as we went swimming everyday, balls & inflatables are aloud. We had two standard rooms, be warned these have not been refurbished & have no air con which was fine for us in April. Our rooms were spotless when we arrived & cleaned most days. Yes they are basic, the bathroom is small & has a shower over the bath with a shower curtain but it was hot & powerful. The beds were comfortable, we had a dressing table which was nice to get ready at night & a nice big balcony overlooking the back pool with a table & chairs. We didn't use the kitchen area apart from the kettle so can't really comment on self catering facilities but it looked like you could prepare basic meals with what was provided. No microwave though. We had no noise from the bars as we were the furthest away from them & didn't once hear anyone above us or next door. The location was perfect for us, 5 min walk to the lovely beach. Beach sun beds were cheap compared to other places we have been, toilets & bars all the way along the beach & well worth a walk to see the sand dunes. Loads of shops, bars & restaurants with entertainment around the hotel, everything is within walking distance. The market on a Wed & Sat was right outside the hotel. We found the bus service brilliant, easy to use & always on time, bus stop at the end of the road. We had a lovely holiday & would come again.

Visited for one week with 2 children aged 8 and 10 , 24.2 -3.3.2026. I had read the reviews after booking and was expecting for the worst. The receptionists were execellent, professional and friendly. Had booked the whole week for the 3 of us and was hugely dissappointed to get a tiny sleeping room with 2 separated beds and extra beddings on the sofa in the living room. It was not easy to sleep on that sofa( basic soffa) for a whole week. The cleaning ladies were adorable. My biggest dissappontment was at the reception I got from the Zeus restaurant and pool bar. On our first visit to the restaurant ( not long after we arrived to the hotel) it was dinner time expecting hallo /hola but we got this woman shouting at me in spanish, no courtesy hello and welcome. No Idea what she was talking about. Figured out soon enough that she meant I show her our all inclusive bracelets. She never had to cause a scene about that. Same experience from the 2 males from Zeus pool bar, it felt like i was begging them for drinks, after the second attempt we never went there anymore. To pay almost 500 euros for all inclusive is not worthy. The food is quite repetative but ok. Loved the location, loud music almost all night though.

The rooms are small and basic, bedrooms face on to the street with two single beds that are well worn they are tired!. Kitchen/living area with dining table and chairs, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, two ring hob, cutlery, etc NO microwave, sofa and TV. Balcony with table and chairs. Cleaning 5 days a week. We enjoy dining out so booked self catering. We did venture in to the dining area one evening, the food on display was basic, luke warm it did not look at all appetising, we dined elsewhere. Directly opposite this complex are a few bar's which are all in competition with each other, hired singers, Kareoke, band and or dj music nightly until approximately 3AM, the noise levels are so high they would waken the deaf'. I'm all for music and entertainment myself but this is SERIOUSLY AWFULLY LOUD. Most everyone in the apartment complex including my partner and I were exhausted from lack of nightly sleep. The twice weekly Market is also held directly opposite this complex hence early morning 4am stall set ups is another noise to factor in. I honestly advise anyone that unless late loud party nights every night are your thing don't be fooled by the brochure description, 4 swimming pools one supposedly heated "we didn't experience that". Children's pool looks fun but when you and your kiddies haven't slept well - picture that scene!!! I love Playa Del Ingles, I return often for more than 40 years now and this is the first time I arrived home exhausted. If my review helps anyone else in deciding on this accommodation complex OR not great, that's what honest genuine reviews are about.

Smelled like mold in the room, very loud music until 3 a.m. Staff ok, but room was just terrible. Noise terrible. Do not go.

Generally all ok, check in swift/efficient/welcoming, I was caught out by having to pay a £50 deposit… apparently just in case I wreck the room!!.. I am a solo traveller, in my 60s, so was a little taken her back by that, but would totally understand it for large groups.

Do not come here if you want to sleep. The noise from the bars are extremely loud and there are not a single pairs of earplugs that can hold the noise and allow you to sleep. Breakfast was good or I was too tired to taste anything. Hotel staff dont mind or do anything to ease hotel guests sleep. Not rekommend this hotel to person who can hear or need to sleep.
