Apartamentos Calma

Somebody previously said in a review that this was the best apartment complex in Playa and I certainly liked it. In fact I extended my stay here and you can’t say better than that. It’s a very short walk to the seafront and if you are not up to tackling the nearby steps to the beach there is also a ramp nearby down the slope and, a bit further away, a free elevator. The apartments are spacious, and each has its own balcony. A purist might say they are slightly dated but I was very happy. Full cooking facilities except for an oven but otherwise I had everything I needed to cook. The ladies on reception are wonderful. For the price/quality ratio you will certainly not find a better place in Playa.

Very good apartment Friendly staff very clean It is a 1* but it is better then 3* Near busstation the sea the promenade and sparsupermarket ..everything you need to have a good vacation . It is very easy to book and it is cheap for what you get

We booked to stay at last minute as already on the island and we’re not disappointed, the staff were friendly from the minute we arrived, everything was clearly explained and we had everything provided in our room that we required, even a welcome bottle of water and chocolate bars, it was our daughters birthday during our stay and the staff even provided a little gift bag on her birthday, my daughter was really happy with this, the apartments location is great, really close to all amenities, taxi rank and bus station 2 minute walk away, shops and restaurants am very close as well, good WiFi in the rooms and very good air conditioning, there is also a self service clothes washing facilities at reception, all in all a very welcoming host and a great stay,

We had a great time in Gran Canaria and the stay at Apartmentos Calma helped to make it great! First things first, the rooms are not the most modern, but they have everything you need for a self catering holiday and that was the most important thing for us. We wanted a base that was close to the beach and other attractions and Calma definitely hit the brief. The pool was great for a morning dip before heading to the beach. Nothing was too much trouble at Calma. If the room lacked something, they were able to provide all that we needed. We booked a family holiday through a third party but Calma only received information that it was for a couple. Upon realising what had happened they swiftly added a bed and cot and provided a high chair for the baby to help make the stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. Also handy, that a Spar supermarket is located just around the corner. It was great that we could borrow some beach toys as well (saving on plastic bits that we would not want to take back with us). All staff we encountered were friendly and the rooms were super clean and pleasant to stay in. I would definitely recommend a stay at Apartmentos Calma!

Perfect! Amazing value for the price you pay. Very close to the beach and good restaurants! Would definitely recommend staying here when you are planning to go to Gran Canaria. Rooms were spotless clean and they have a room you can use after check out to grab a shower before your flight!

Smallish apartment block near the Irish centre. Room was great ! We were on the 5th floor and had sun on the balcony all day. Great facilities and nice pool. Plenty of fee sunbeds when we stayed but the resort was quiet. Good location for everything. Will book here again the next time we come.
