Guest UserIt's great to be back at the Renaissance Permas Jaya. Our last visit was a couple of years ago, and to our pleasant surprise, the hotel has been just as well maintained as we remembered.
Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to try the breakfast, as there were plenty of nearby local eateries where we enjoyed our meals. Overall, thank you to the Renaissance team for another wonderful experience, from the swift check-in process to promptly accommodating our room service request!
We look forward to returning again in the future.

Guest UserHere’s a polished and balanced review that highlights both the positives and areas for improvement:
Our family of three generations stayed in Unit #18-11 for 3D2N, and overall, it was a pleasant experience.
The unit itself was impressive, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The minimalist style created a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. We appreciated the attention to detail, such as the dining table being neatly set with cups, plates, and cutlery. The kitchen was well-equipped with a water filtration system, microwave oven, kettle, and induction cooker, making meal preparation convenient.
The living room was spacious and comfortable, featuring cozy sofas, additional seating, and a 55-inch TV with Netflix access. It was more than adequate for a large family gathering. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a selection of board games available for guests, which added to the family-friendly environment.
There were, however, a few areas that could be improved. Most of the air-conditioning remote controls did not have batteries installed, with only one functioning remote available. We eventually had to transfer batteries from the TV remote control for use elsewhere, and spare batteries were limited.
The master bathroom was particularly impressive, with a spacious layout, separate shower cubicle, and bathtub. The bathrooms were clean, inviting, and stocked with a large bottle of 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner. However, no body wash was provided. Additionally, the shower floors in both bathrooms became quite slippery when wet, and despite our request for additional bathroom floor towels or anti-slip mats due to the presence of both elderly family members and young children, only a limited number were available.
A washing machine was available in the service yard, although it appeared rather dusty and no laundry detergent was provided.
One unusual observation was that some doors occasionally opened by themselves without any apparent reason, which was a little unsettling at times.
While the accommodation itself was enjoyable, our experience with the managing agent was less satisfactory. During a previous stay at Mosaic, the agent had been proactive, responsive, and patient, providing comprehensive information well in advance, including directions and Wi-Fi details. In contrast, for this stay, communication was minimal and the necessary check-in information was only provided shortly after midnight on the day of check-in. Earlier and more proactive communication would have greatly improved the guest experience and reduced unnecessary uncertainty before arrival.
Overall, the unit itself is comfortable, well-maintained, and suitable for large family stays. With a few improvements to amenities and communication, the experience could be even better.

RachellseOverall, my 3-night stay was pleasant. I especially enjoyed the family suite—the king-size bed and pillows were very comfortable. However, I expected a basic standard, which is why I couldn’t give a full rating.
Cleanliness:
There were a few issues that needed attention. I encountered a small lizard, a baby cockroach (which I had to handle), and a spider. The bedsheets and rug had visible stains—while these may be hard to remove, it's not acceptable even for a 3-star hotel. Additionally, a used, damp (but dried) toilet paper roll was left alongside a new one, which should not happen. I’m not particularly fussy, but others might have rated this much lower. The toilet seat was loose and misaligned. The towel hanger was loose as well, so we were careful not to hang all our towels there. The basin tap was also loose.
Service:
Requests for a writing chair and a hairdryer took quite a while and were only resolved after I spoke to a housekeeper the next morning. Although the room accommodates four guests, we were a group of three and only received two cups, so we had to take turns. There are also only two non-standard, unprofessional hangers provided. They should supply four. I did not use the shampoo or shower gel, so I cannot comment on those. Maybe a brief note should check on our day since we are staying for three nights. This is a suggestion to improve.
Location & Amenities:
There is a laundry shop conveniently located directly across from the hotel. Parking is available on site, though you may need to park behind the building. It would be helpful to have a designated drop-off slope at the front of the hotel.
Food:
The café serves a good chicken nasi lemak. The curry gravy is rich and flavorful, though it would be better if there were more side dishes to complement the rice.
The overall experience helped offset the shortcomings.
Value for Money: 3/5
Until another review for the shortcomings are rectified, I will consider other accommodation

samuel eelwas a plesant stay. Room is quite spacious but however a little noisy that the window was not perfectly sealed. can hear the traffic sound and people talking from my window. Service was great and check in procedure was simple. Room was clean and neat. Bed was comfy, will be back again next round :)
Most importantly about permas was the location and access to food and industrial area. its an impressive location

Anonymous UserBooked here for a few times now. The only downside this time was that it was a bit noisy due to the renovation of the room. Staff was very helpful to change my room after I complained that the aircond was not working. Other than that, it was a good stay for me. Keep up the good work

Guest UserThe price is good and there is a food street, convenience stores and a Watsons within the same shop lot area. Really good place!
The room itself is a little run down, but not uncomfortable. The aircon goes down real cold and the water can go up to scorching hot. There’s a hairdryer.
I would recommend you stay in a room with a window instead of a room without because the experience is so much better.

NeelavExceptional Stay Defined by Unmatched Service! If you want to experience what true hospitality looks like, look no further than this amazing hotel. While the property itself is wonderful, what truly sets it apart is the phenomenal staff—specifically, Janet and Roen. Janet and Roen are both exceptional. They don't just follow a standard hospitality script; they completely redefine customer service. In an industry where staff can sometimes be restricted by corporate red tape, Janet and Roen are a breath of fresh air. They aren't afraid to defy conventional rules when a situation calls for it, proactively taking things into their own hands to ensure the guest experience is absolutely seamless. It is incredibly rare to find individuals who are so deeply committed to guest satisfaction that they will personally intervene and go off-script to make sure every single detail is taken care of. They completely removed any stress from our stay, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Amazing hotel, amazing service. Kudos to Roen and Janet for elevating our experience and showing what genuine, empowered hospitality is all about!

Guest UserLocation is very near to tebrau highway, which is very accessible to Mid Valley (South Key), town area, mt austin, highway to Johor Premium Outlet. There is also a Korean restaurant right at the pool level. Right beside Ponderosa Golf Course (great stay for golfers). Checking in & out is also very accessible and convenient. However i think the cleanliness is a little poor. Floor were dusty when we enter.
