Travelodge Plymouth

Staff were really helpful. Rpom was lovely and spacious but really noisy from dance music from local clubs! Lady on the front desk was really understanding and managed to move us to a much quieter room. We were staying for a comedy show which was unfortunately cancelled but the lady on the desk recommended alternative things to do which made the visit worth while. We will be back for the rescheduled show
Future Inn Plymouth
4.3/5114 Reviews
We stayed for three nights at the Future Inn Plymouth. On arrival we received a lovely warm welcome by the reception staff, our room was extremely spacious, clean with a well-stocked hospitality tray, the slippers & bathrobes were definitely an added bonus. Large free car park with plenty of parking available and despite been a little way out of Plymouth City centre the road links and frequent public transport made it easy to get out and about. We thought our stay was good value for money and would definitely stay again if in the Plymouth area. Many thanks
Leonardo Hotel Plymouth - Formerly Jurys Inn

The beds are excellent quality. The hotel is well-located. I second the mention of James on reception, a most helpful person. Yet on the whole the atmopsphere was sterile. Taxis tend only to pick up from a cul-de-sac at the back of the hotel unless one remonstrates with them. Room service finishes quite early in mid-evening. I tried the food twice. Once some late night food from the bar (avocado and egg salad with overly acidic grains) which I didn't finish. Once for the breakfast room, depressing atmosphere, though there was the usual tick-box selection of cooked and cold food. If you want a *nice* breakfast go to Prime Cafe Bar on Ebrington Street , just a few minutes walk, it's much more welcoming and wholesome. Leonardo Hotel is a functional business hotel, slight better than the cheapest 'Lodge'-type places and with decent sized rooms. But it lacks any soul. Although well-situated in terns of being close to several facilities, the view from the windows across the street is equally bleak, lifted only slightly by a Dominos Pizza take-away interjected in nondescript vista.
FoxHouse Studio Apartments

We have never staying in an apartment so we were skeptical, but read the reviews and because of location decided to take the plunge and we were so glad we did, excellent service and very informative 5* as far as we are concerned, room was big and comfy with everything we needed in the kitchenette, nice settee nice big bed, excellent reception staff and the location is second to none we didn’t have to drive for 2 days, the location is 2 mins from town centre and 5 min walk to Barbican. The room accommodated myself, wife and 4 yr old son, my only grumble was the shower was not powerful enough. We are converted and will be staying there for all our future stays Well done team “Foxhouse”
Boringdon Hall Hotel and Spa

(This is being sent from my actual profile and not the wrong one also showing on here) My husband and I have just returned from our 2 night ”Balancing Spa Break” at Boringdon which included dinner in the Brasserie on one night and in the Michelin Starred Acleaf restaurant on the other night with a 60 minute treatment for each of us. It was my turn to pay so I decided to spoil ourselves and I picked for us to stay in one of the Wellness Suites, the hotel's most expensive rooms. We stayed in 'Apollo' which is the room shown on their website. The room was delightful and very comfortable. Attractively and comfortably furnished with lots of nice extras including lovely toiletries to use in the room along with some to take home as a freebie. Nice tea and coffee selection and a small complimentary minibar (which wasn't very exciting - the only alcohol being 2 standard bottles of lager, the rest was soft fizzy drinks, nuts and chocolate). The bed was large and comfortable. Lovely furniture and soft furnishings in the bedroom room and sitting room space and we enjoyed the pieces of art and books. There was an outside large square spa bath on our balcony which was empty on our arrival, we would have to fill it ourselves. BUT instead of it being private, it was open to the rest of the hotel across the grass. We didn't feel confident enough to use it knowing others might be watching. All it needed was a privacy screen and I would have enjoyed using it despite it being end Feb/beginning of March. In the bedroom there were ceiling lights that dangled low just in front of the bedside tables. Lights like this are usually suspended over a table. My husband banged his head on these low, heavy glass lampshades about 20 times during our stay. He isn't particularly tall (5ft8) so if you were taller than this I'm sure you would be hitting it every single time you got out of bed. Silly placement. As there were other bedside lights these ceiling lights were unnecessarily low. The bathroom was beautiful, with 2 handmade stone sinks, a nice walk in shower and freestanding half egg shaped bath. I enjoy a bath. BUT this bath had a freestanding tap with a handheld spray attachment (for rinsing your hair). We just couldn't get this handheld spray to work, we couldn't get water to come out of it. My husband telephoned reception to report this but nobody fixed it during our stay :( Our evening meal in the Brasserie was very nice but I do begrudge paying £4 for a bottle of water! On the first day at Breakfast in the Spatisserie my husband had tea and I requested coffee. I didn't know why I was given just a cup of coffee whilst my husband had a tea-iere of tea and others in the Spatisserie had coffee in cafetieres. I requested a second cup of coffee but it never arrived, we gave up waiting for it and left. Our second breakfast in the Spatisserie was better, I was given a cafetiere of coffee this time. We both asked for porridge, his with honey, mine with brown sugar. When
