This was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip, and also the most expensive at over $4000 a night! The environment, service, and facilities were all top-notch. Free parking and an unbeatable view were major pluses. The room came with a washing machine, dryer, electric stove, microwave, and a complete set of kitchenware and dishes. This was a wonderful surprise for us, as there really aren't many good food options on Kauai. We bought some groceries at the supermarket and cooked several meals ourselves, which was great. It saved us a lot of money and even cured our 'Chinese stomach'! If the price were closer to $1000 a night, I'd happily stay here for a whole month.

The beach in front of the hotel was wonderful. I was moved by the beautiful sunsets I saw every day. The room was new, modern, clean, and comfortable. It was a shame that RumFire ​​wasn't open every day. I would like to stay there again.

I plan to stay here again. As a solo traveler, the studio was extremely comfortable and the grounds felt safe and well kept. The dining options were perfect- grab and go, casual and fine dining were all right there. Lava's had one of the best Wedge salads I've ever eaten. The pools were sparkling, the parking easy (be aware of and the $40+ daily charge, though), and everyone I interacted with had a big smile.

We stayed at the Sheraton Kauai resort villas during spring break (we are a family of 4). We really enjoyed the property which provided enough variety give it is not the size of some of much larger resorts on the island. Besides the pool, my kids (12 and 15) really enjoyed playing garden chess and corn hole. It was really convenient to have a kitchenette and the ability to do laundry in the villa. We just wish the kitchen came with either 2 sets of dishes and utensils (or a dishwashing liquid, a sponge and a drying rack to do dishes by hand) since it did not make sense to run the dishwasher for 4 plates after each meal. The property itself is in a great location and near a nice shopping center. There are also 2 restaurants on site and a convenience store/gift shop on the premise. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful resort! Lovely people, beach, facilities, and activities. Easy parking and great location for adventures on the south side of the island. If you're booking a guest room (vs studio or suite), be aware there is no kitchenette or w/d. There is a small mini-fridge only. But our room location was awesome on the ground floor next to the pool (7106).

We had been at 2 different VRBOs for the week prior to this. We prefer the privacy and uniqueness of those experiences to that of a big resort where we felt like more of a number in a concrete jungle. And the price/value was so much better with the VRBO route. An example was the $40 per night money grab for parking.
