The worst accommodation I ever stayed in. You sleep in a garage, no breakfast despite booking room with breakfast included. The host is rude and doesn’t care about guests experience, she was late to check us (late 1 hour). Stay away!!! It’s a dirty place

A disappointing stay at a B&B that is full of deception, lies and rudeness by the female proprietor. Sh had no concept of check-in times and left us to fend in the hot sun whilst she arrived 2 hours late to give us access to our accommodation and without any remorse. She simply shrugged her shoulders!!!! The following days were met with no breakfast whatsoever and no room servicing at all, leaving us with one set of towels for the complete stay. Polignano a mare is a great place to visit but please avoid the Dimora Dioniso like the plague!!!! Everybody that stayed there during our stay also bitterly complained about her rudeness and the No Service Attitude….

This place is a scam disguised as a charming stay in Polignano a Mare. We booked a triple room, which turned out to be more like a dark, musty garage with no windows, damp smell, and zero amenities. It was gloomy, borderline moldy, and completely unfit for guests. They falsely advertise room service and a local breakfast — don’t be fooled. What we got was laughable: three dry crackers, mini Nutella, some jam, no milk, no coffee, no fresh food of any kind. The fridge was barely stocked and not even a bottle of water was offered. Room was never cleaned, towels never changed. Not once. Check-in process? A complete disaster. Despite the listing stating to contact the property 24hrs in advance, we did — with no reply. We called and were told to arrive at 3pm. By 3:50pm, still no one at the property, no reception, nothing. When the host finally showed up, she was rude, blamed ******* for the mess, and lied about not having our contact number — even though she had our booking in hand. Then came the cash-only demand for city tax — with no receipt provided, which feels highly questionable. The host was dismissive and clearly unbothered about guest experience. Polignano a Mare is absolutely beautiful, but do yourself a favor and do not let Dimora Dioniso ruin your holiday. This place is a complete disaster.

This property is the full opposite to what is advertised. No staff in attendance for check in. Staff member casually arrived at 3:50pm to give us access to our accommodation. She was rude and very argumentative as we told her that we had been waiting in the scorching sun for 3 hours and she simply ignored us. We attempted to pay the city tax by card and she refused, saying “cash only” The room was dark and dingy with no windows to the outside air. The website to this B&B boasts a daily breakfast which we paid for but never received once during our stay!!! We were booked for 3 days/2 nights and only received 2 coffee pods for the whole stay. When we commented on the ******* messages I was told I would have to wait till 9:30pm for her to deliver us some coffee. The room was not serviced once during our mid week stay which is also contrary to their website. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and this B&B is by far the worst experience that we ever had. Do yourself a favour and book any other establishment and stay well away from Dimora Dioniso…. Absolutely terrible experience at Dimora Dioniso. Avoid at all cost!!! Polignano a Mare is a beautiful place so please don’t let this property ruin your stay like they did us. The host is absolutely rude and completely lied to us, blaming ******* for all the shortfalls. She also lied about not having our contact number but it was clearly stated on the booking form which she clutched tightly in her hands.

A brilliant heritage apartment in the old centre A stunning heritage apartment right in the midst of the old town yet in a quiet street. Dionosa was a wonderful host, very informative and helpful and delivered a delicious breakfast each morning. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The place was nice, a little dated, but very clean and comfortable. The staff, specially Maira and Angelica were lovely and very helpful.

We had a spacious mini-apartment on the ground floor, very comfortable and quiet. Free parking nearby (walking distance) was a plus. Friendly, accessible host - check in was flexible. Private (italian style) breakfast was served in our room, and brought to us by the friendly hostess in a tray. Represents great value for price paid, in an otherwise overpriced location like Polignano. ps- a surcharge applies on card payments. We had carried sufficient cash.
