This establishment is ok, especially if if you want to stay in one place or if your have a car. The Hotel is located about z4kms from the city centre. Despite Google saying it takes 36mins walk. The walking was not safe to undertake. A taxi or tuk tik transport is suggested. The cost is $35.EUR for a return trip, which is ery expensive for an 8km trip. The restaurant's menu for lunch and dinner is the same. They provide a clothes dryer which was very useful for washing clothes.

Excellent location away from the hustle and bustle of Polignano; professional and friendly staff at the reception; stayed for one week on a half board plan and greatly appeciated the variety and quality of the freshly homemade cakes for breakfast, not to mention the great mozzarella and other local savoury produce! The dinner menu was simply amazing , both fish and meat dishes were tasty and hearty ; the maitre Mr Pasquale always had the right choice of local wines to accompany the food; special mention also to the Chef , young and very passionate, and all the waiters ! We were a little less satisfied with the servicing of the rooms, sometimes not so attentive; the issue was mentioned to the reception and we noted an improvement on the following days; could not comment onthe SPA since we did not use it.

We were a group of 4 couples for 5 nights and we had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were big and well appointed. I had a large balcony which was overlooking the pool. The grounds were impeccably manicured. The whole resort was very updated and clean. The included breakfast was excellent and near a beautiful garden. Parking on site was very convenient. The location of this hotel was perfect for going to surrounding towns to explore. The hotel staff was very accommodating and helpful with whatever our needs were. If I am ever in the Bari area again I would definitely stay at this hotel again. What a great way to start our 3 week stay in Italy.

We loved our five night stay at San Lorenzo. The grounds are beautiful and everyday we explored a different section. The Breakfast room is in a garden settng surrounded by cactus plants sprouting prickly pears and the food selections are plentiful and delicious. Our room choice faced the pool and had a large balony. Loved the room and hotel decor which was clean, modern and uncluttered, Bathroom was large as well as the shower. The pool area with bar, lounge and restaurant was great. We used San Lorenzo as a base for visiting the surrounding towns, Martina Franca, Ostuni, Alberbello, Monopoli and Bari. We had a wonderful experience at San Lorenzo.

Beautiful property with welcoming staff. We enjoyed the on site dining and pool. Our stay here was one of the highlights to our first trip to Italy.

Excellent place! Discreet, exquis, peaceful, in the middle of a nice garden. Nice pool, good musi, very good breakfast. People very nice, without exception. Special mention for Fedele, the night knight! Hope to meet again!

Beautiful place with a lovely pool area and great location. However, the rooms are small, with basic furniture (no cupboard, chair or desk), slow wifi. Great breakfast and lovely staff in the restaurant. However, one of the reception staff was incredibly rude and provided no help when that was needed. Hotel is about hospitality and making the customer feel welcome. A smile and a little bit of basic empathy would have gone a long way to help smooth initial issues.

Recently I stayed at the San Lorenzo boutique hotel in Polignano a Mare. A beautiful gem of a hotel on a hill surrounded by olive trees and a private beach and pool. I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff that showed me to my room with a terrace overlooking the sea. Lunch was spectacular, Pasquale provided a delicious fresh spaghetti with mussels and a terrific bottle of Apulian white wine. Fedele, the night manager greeted us on our return in the evening and was most pleasant and accommodating. A wonderful experience that I am looking forward to repeating. Bravo!!

Gorgeous and relaxing hotel - we will definitely return! Beautiful room with sea and pool views. Super helpful and friendly staff. Food was delicious! Especially breakfast! Highly recommend the pistachio and white chocolate croissants ..! Thanks to the hotel staff for an amazing experience!
