San Lorenzo Boutique Hotel & Spa

Very nice hotel. 5 min drive to Polignano a Mare. Beautifully kept. Grounds are amazing. Very nice and relaxing pool. Paring is on site. We got connected rooms with separate bathrooms. They did not have a balcony and were on the small size but the price was much cheaper if we booked two separate rooms. Breakfast was good. Fresh and tasty. The only reason I took one star off from the rating is the party hotel had on the last day for our stay. It was a birthday party, with loud music that lasted until almost midnight. Since it is not a huge place and party was outside, we weren't able to go to sleep until it was over. Somewhat inconsiderate by the hotel.. Other then that the stay was perfect.

I had one of my worst experiences in my life with this Hotel. As a person and as a very well traveled man who has visited every single continent on this Planet. My wife and me have planned nice trip to South of Italy. Everything was booked in advance. But, after our arrival to Matera, which was our first stop, my wife got very sick and has ended in the hospital at Matera for the next 2 weeks, prior of her transfer to the hospital back home. I had to cancel all our trip. Two Hotels which we suppose to stay after Matera, soon as they have heard what has happened to my wife has canceled right away our rooms and returned money to our account. But this Hotel, San Lorenzo Spa, didn’t want to cancel our room and even that it was our last stop planned and it was 5 days before our arrival, they collected all the amount. So, when you going to book the room at this hotel, please have this story on your mind and which kind of people are actually running that place.

If you’re looking for a wonderful place with outstanding service, you’ll find it at this hotel. Everyone who assisted us was extremely polite and professional. I especially want to highlight the amazing service provided by Antonella and Pascoalle, they were incredible and made our experience truly unforgettable. The food at the hotel is absolutely delicious, and the rooms are spacious with beautiful views. A perfect combination for a relaxing and memorable stay. If you’re visiting Puglia, stay at this hotel , you won’t regret it. Every moment is worth it!

Wonderful boutique hotel with all the comforts.. Rooms are sparking white and well maintained. Breakfast down stairs over looking the gardens was excellent. Lots of choices and great coffee. They have a great restaurant which serves great food and excellent service from the staff. Staff everywhere are very friendly and helpful. Stunning pool...one of the best I have found in our travels. I had a massage which was good value and very relaxing. Location is very good, 5 minute drive into Polignano. Park in the Public carpark and it's a 5 minute walk to the "old town 100% recommendation.

Very friendly staff , clean rooms with very comfortable beds. Lovely breakfast. I loved that they offered great free WiFi , free parking. The pool was beautiful , unfortunately it too cool weather to use it . Outdoor gym ! The restaurant wasn’t great food wise .

Beautiful hotel Great area to visit.very easy to park open yard parking .and you can take a tuk tuk to town so you don’t have to worry about parking which easiest easy. They have a nice restaurant on property. Staff very friendly and helpful. This was my second stay.

The hotel lies 5 minutes from the centre of Polignano a Mare outside the town. It is a lovely countryside property with plenty of green spaces, an outdoor pool, and a spa. The hotel has parking on site. Rooms are spacious, bright, and clean. Rooms are modern but not charming. We got a room with a balcony overlooking the pool and it was very nice. The staff was helpful. The breakfast is plentiful and with fresh blood orange juice served. The breakfast area was one of our favourite features of this hotel. Overall, it was a very solid 4-star hotel, nothing to complain about and at a fair price of 135 EUR per night.

The most beautiful property to relax from the hustle and bustle of Polignano and only 2kms away. We loved our 4 nights there and the fact we had a pool ( which is a must in summer) made the experience even better! The staff are attentive and our room overlooked the sea. Could not asked for a better start to Puglia!
