Hotel Grotta Palazzese

The restaurant is undeniably beautiful, and the food is good, although the prices are extremely high. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. The waiters were consistently disrespectful and rude — they even refused when we politely asked to have a picture taken of us as a couple. It’s disappointing and frustrating to pay so much and receive such poor treatment. This is definitely not the place to go if you expect the minimum courtesy, like taking a photo or being treated with basic respect. That said, the food was fine and the setting itself is truly stunning.

worst hotel ever ! service is really bad and it is overrated. it doesnt worth what you paid for and also the owners are so visionless.

Beautiful view from our room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Made our visit to Poligliano a Mare special.

The hotel gave us an amazing welcome and had a fruit platter waiting in our room for our honeymoon, as well as rose petals on our bed forming a heart. The staff is extremely helpful and kind!

Amazing hotel, location. Staff went above and beyond to please us. Breakfast was superb. Truly 5 star hotel!

Stayed for 2 nights in one of the suites with a balcony and direct view of the water. Everything in the suite was clean and super comfortable. The staff were very accommodating. The included breakfast was delicious, and you are seated in the beautiful cave restaurant. They also have a shuttle that takes you to a private beach that is part of their other nearby hotel. The view itself was worth the money for the 2 night stay.

We had dinner at the restaurant. What a disappointment. The location is great but the food and service is very mediocre and terribly overpriced . The restaurant has a strange policy that requires that if one person at the party orders the fixed prix dinner, all need to order a fixed prix dinner - others cannot order a la carte. When it came pay the bill, we had extra bottles of water on the bill (at 10 E each) which we had to argue to get removed. Service and food were very poor. The environment is really neat but it the poor service and food does not make up for the unique setting. Very expensive and poor value.

I would like to thank the manager and entire staff that delivering outstanding service at every moment of my stay. I definitely would return and highly recommend this phenomenal hotel and enjoyed the cuisine at the Restaurant as well, and entire staff at restaurant was exquisite.
