Aparthotel Duva & Spa

What a fantastic stay. Aparthotel Duva was welcoming, clean, and hospitable. The room was simple and straightforward, with just enough equipment to be able to cook my own meals and enjoy them on the balconies. The hotel has a secure place to store bicycles, complete with tools and pumps. The bicycling community is really welcoming and wonderful and I got to speak with lots of other riders to hear where they were heading each day. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to a large grocery store - perfect for provisioning - and about a 15-20 minute walk to the center of town and the beach. It was easy for me to walk into town to pick up my rented bicycle for the few days that I was there. I would certainly stay here again - what a perfect location from which to enjoy the stunning roads of Mallorca.

We recently stayed here for 7 nights and was not disappointed. The staff were friendly and helpful right from arrival to departure. Our room was comfortable and spacious. There are three pools to choose from with ample sun-beds. The breakfast is exceptional at €12. Excellent storage for the bikes we hired for 5 days. Location is excellent for setting off on bike rides and easy access to main town.

We thought the location was great. Just a short easy walk into Puerto Pollensa and has bus stops very near by if you want to get into Pollensa or Alcudia. It’s also a great location for cycling with routes out to Cap de Formentor and down to Sa Calobra etc. The apartment had everything we needed for a self catering stay & was very quiet & peaceful. The Spa & gym are a little dated & on the small side but perfectly adequate and the pool is good with plenty of sun beds. The connected bike hire is excellent, knowledgeable & really helpful. This was our third visit to Majorca but our first to Puerto Pollensa. We really enjoyed the experience & think we will be back next year.

Our apartment had been renovated, had what you needed felt basic, glad I had balcony. Entertainment at night got a bit repetitive. Main issue was distance out of town and the walk wasn't pretty. 10% discount off restaurant we had pizza and cod with a roti, it was okay.

Booked via Jet2 holidays for a weeks road cycling in the last week of May 2024, stayed in apartment 1601- second floor. Great working elevator, apartment spacious and clean, shower excellent, bed comfy. Friendly staff. My only ******* were the kitchen facilities- there was a (new) microwave, and a double hob, and a motley collection of pots(some without lids) and pans...as someone travelling solo PURELY for the road cycling I planned to mainly eat in the apartment and could have done with a grill. I also took my own colander/sieve to do boiled rice and donated it to the apartment when I left!! But these are minor niggles(I did consider taking a cheap Ambiano "Aldi" Foreman type grill, wish I had now!) as lets face it, most (normal) people dine out when on holiday, but Billy-no mates here doesn't like to do that ha ha.... I would recommend the place 100%, easy walk to the Eroski supermarket about 700m away too, and it was close to my bike hire shop also....(and this was the best holiday I've ever been on- biked 370km/4,700m ascent in 5 days and walked 25km in the other 2 days...conquered Sa Calobra and Cap de Formentor in the process....)

we arrived at around midnight on sunday night and were greeted by a very helpful receptionist. he told us that there was food waiting for us on the table. we were all quite shocked as it was quite late at night, but we enjoyed it anyway (my sister especially loved the chicken wings)! afterwards, we got our room cards and we walked up to our rooms, exploring the pond (that has really cute turtles and ducks in it) and the hotel grounds on the way. the rooms were quite big with a kitchen, living room with sofa beds, a bedroom and a bathroom. the room also had a balcony which we sat on and watched the stars and also enjoyed the stunning pool view. the beds were comfortable and the pillows were very fluffy. as for the rest of the hotel, the main pool was very fun, although it was quite cold when you first got in and a bit deep for me. the buffet dinners and breakfasts were delicious and my dad and i loved the crispy hash browns at breakfast and the pepper sauce at dinner. everyday, there were bar snacks available. if you get some, i would highly recommend the cheese and ham sandwich as it is delicious. sadly we couldn’t use the indoor pool as we didn’t bring a swimming cap but when we went to see it it looked lovely. there is a sports store near the on-site restaurant which is located near another pool and the tennis courts. the bartenders and other hotel staff were very helpful, especially Reuben and Luciano. the mini-disco and night entertainments were THE BEST! overall, this holiday was so enjoyable and i was sad to go home. will hopefully be able to return soon.

Really lovely place to stay. A little out of the main resort but we knew that and were happy to walk in - about 20 minutes to the centre. Apartment on ground floor, really nice but downside was the noise of the road sitting out. Air con great. Staff lovely - poolside bar great, pools great, tennis and Padel really reasonable . Racket hire free if you’re a resident. Just a bit hot to play! I’d return - I really liked the atmosphere. We paid for breakfast too which was amazing value.

Just home today from a wonderful stay at Duva. My husband, my 1 year old daughter and I stayed in a one bedroom apartment in the main block and it was absolutely perfect for us. It looked like it had been fairly recently renovated and was very tasteful. The only (very small) issue we had with the room was a leaky shower which I will email about as didn’t have time to bring this up when leaving as my daughter was running in the opposite direction! The staff in the hotel were just fantastic. The restaurant ran like clockwork, particularly thanks to the maitre d who couldn’t have done more for us. Our little girl just loved him and he was so accommodating and pleasant. Reception staff were always helpful and pleasant and the entertainment lead did a wonderful job. We went half board which was perfect for us as our daughter is a bit fussy and to be honest we don’t feel we’ve missed out on good food as the quality of food was excellent. Most certainly not repetitive as it often can be and it never ran out. There were 3 pools, 2 of which we used and were fab. Plenty sun loungers. The gym was excellent. I went for a massage which was reasonably priced for how good it was, though if you’re looking for a relaxed spa environment this is maybe not for you as the massage room is close to the gym and as a result is quite noisy. For me it was perfect however. Location for us was just fine, about a 15 minute walk from the beach but also close to shop/supermarket. We also used the bus system and the stops for Pollença and Formentor were close. All in all a most enjoyable stay, keep up the good work Duva team and we will most certainly consider returning in the future.

Such friendly staff here. The host, Luciano, makes activities so enjoyable and is very funny. Many activities for both adults and kids like adventures, games and shows! Would definitely recommend this hotel! There’s also a spa here including a sauna, steam room and a pool with a jacuzzi downstairs with a gym which I recently discovered and have enjoyed my quiet time in there
