We were three families who came here hoping for a nice weekend getaway. Instead, we got a crash course in how not to run a resort. Let’s start with Agoda’s masterpiece of misinformation — the rooms were priced sky-high claiming “private beach access.” Really? From the second floor, with no balcony? Unless you’re Spider-Man or a flying fish, there’s no way that’s happening! The listing felt like a work of fiction — whatever was promised online, none of it matched reality. The staff, oh, what charm! Cold faces, rude replies, and a level of hospitality that could make a robot look affectionate. The receptionists couldn’t care less, and the staff flat-out refused to even lift our bags — apparently, doing their job isn’t part of their job description. The restaurant? Well, we didn’t even set foot inside after catching a whiff of it. The smell alone was enough to ruin anyone’s appetite. A quick peek at their “paneer gravy” (which looked like someone mixed sauce and regret) confirmed our decision to stay far, far away. As for safety, let’s just say this resort gives a warm welcome to stray dogs, who seem to have more freedom (and attitude) than the guests. Great if you’re running an animal shelter, not so much if you’ve got kids with you. In short — overpriced rooms, misleading listings, zero hospitality, and a general “we-don’t-care” vibe. Thanks, Agoda, for the creative writing in your description — you really sold us a dream that turned out to be a full-blown nightmare. Wouldn’t recommend this place even for free. We checked in with excitement and checked out with trauma. 👎
