I stayed at Hostal Nirvana for one night while walking the Camino de Santiago. It's a bit out of the way, what with it being about a 10-minute walk from the sights and restaurants. Room 302 was spacious and the bed super comfy. The attached bathroom was nice as well. Wifi worked well throughout the building. My only problem is that the A/C doesn't really cool down the room much. That day was a scorcher with 36 degrees, so it would have been great for the A/C to run properly. But even though I blasted at maximum capacity, the room never got cooler than 25.1 degrees. Breakfast is 5 euro and well worth it if you're walking the Camino.

Good location 5 mins from bus station and centre. Arrived early, someone kindly dealt with me (very cold day). Room etc fine apart from poor (ducted)heating system that you had to leave on (the fan) all the time but which made little difference.

Clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff and a good breakfast in the morning for a small fee.

todo perfecto. la habitación para tres que éramos un poco justa pero normal viendo el precio. Las camas comodísimas y la calefacción perfecta. El baño tb muy bien. Muy amables y ayudando en lo que preguntamos. Se aparca perfectamente delante del hotel y a un minuto gratis. Relación calidad-precio de 10. Muchas gracias

Hostal muy recomendable. La habitación amplia , muy limpia y con todo lo necesario para hacer una estancia muy agradable. El personal maravilloso, atento , amable y cercano. Miguel es una persona excepcional con un trato estupendo. Si volvemos a Ponferrada seguro que repetimos en el hostal.

Habitaciones grandes y baño totalmente nuevo. Personal super atento. Ofrecen muy buen desayuno a un precio muy económico. Hacíamos el camino en bici y tienen un lugar cerrado para guardarlas. 100% recomendable.

Todo en este hostal es muy correcto: limpieza, amplitud, relación calidad-precio, desayuno opcional a 5 €. El personal es muy amable, y nos facilitaron mucho la reserva y la información previa. En la zona hay fácil aparcamiento y está cerca de la estación de autobuses. La única pega que encontré fue que mi cama tenía un colchón muy duro (no así la cama supletoria), y la almohada me resultó muy baja, así que no logré descansar bien por la noche.

Ideal para pasar un par de noches y visitar la zona. A 10/15 minutos del castillo y zona vieja andando. Fácil aparcamiento, con zona gratuita cercana. Personal muy amable, limpio, buena cama y ducha. Desayuno con zumo, café, tostada, revuelto, bacon, bollería industrial. En general precio adecuado a lo que ofrece.
