Not the most comfortable stay. My room was changed three times. The first room's desk was broken, and the second room lacked hot water. Would not recommend

I did not enjoy my stay at the hotel. My room was not clean. Towels do not look clean. There was no WiFi for the whole week. It was a challenge for me because I was there for a business trip. Maintenance of the property is poor. The study table is not properly placed. They take time to fix broken items. They serve one menu for the whole week. There is no variety.

I had a very pleasant stay at Pongola Country Lodge while travelling for business. The staff were extremely friendly and professional, and the service throughout my visit was excellent. From check-in to meals, everything was handled efficiently and with a welcoming attitude. The food was definitely a highlight. The meals were well prepared, generous in portion, and full of flavour. It’s always great to find a place where the kitchen clearly takes pride in what they serve. The lodge is clean, comfortable, and well located, making it a perfect stop whether you’re travelling for work or leisure. I would definitely recommend Pongola Country Lodge to anyone passing through the area and will gladly stay here again.

Rooms need upgrading they were very substandard. we requested lunch pack and they gave curry food which was not ideal on a hot summer day and doing site construction work.

Door not closing properly. Wi Gi not working. Bed Lamp not working. Shower leaking. TV stripes. Food was good.

Let's be honest, it is a pretty poor condition motel (not a hotel as such) - Wallpaper peeling off... no or poor Wifi in the rooms, extremely thin wall... (we can clearly hear what is going on in the other rooms) - Luckily the on-site restaurant is of good quality
