Harbor Lakes RV Resort

The Management is wonderful to work with. Pool Area and Hot Tub are Awesome!! Lot Sizes are comfortable. The area is amazing for restaurants and shopping. Gasperilla Island is close enough for a day visit. "Looking forward to going back!!"

We're Thousand Trails/Encore members and we go camping 1-2x/month around FL with our travel trailer, and are always looking for a good campground or RV park. Harbor Lakes RV Resort is one of our absolute favorites! Not only is it clean, with some very nice amenities, but the sites are nearly all a good size, especially if you can get into a premium site. The roads are very wide, so even the novice RV'ers would have an easy time backing into sites. But the star of this park, or I should say STARS, is the staff. We've been to this park many times, and they have always been very helpful since our very first visit with them. If you like to fish, there is a large lake next to the campground, or you can drive down El Jobean Rd. to some waterways, or head to the Myaka River bridge right on El Jobean Rd., where there is a fishing pier that you can walk out on. A short drive away is all sorts of shopping and restaurants on US 41, and Englewood Beach is an easy drive less than 30min away. Or take a drive down to Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorga, or the beautiful town of Boca Grande. All are fairly easy drives. Harbor Lakes RV Resort also gets food trucks quite often if you don't feel like cooking or going out to dinner. Sometimes I'm reluctant doing reviews on our favorite RV Resort, as our hidden gem isn't so hidden any more, but we love it, and will keep returning as often as we can!

Sad! Encore Harbor lakes. not up to standards for the cost of a resort. sand lot with broken concrete patio. roads in park littered with large potholes and in need of repair. residents have total disregard for the speed limits. 15mph We had very nice neighbors, Management and staff are friendly and are as helpful as possible. Dec 2023, Wy-Fi only at outdated club house. Work out equipment broken for better part of our 4 months stay. Hot tub was broken and shut down for the first 7 weeks of our stay. Biggest problem is the trash situation located behind our lot. no fence, 3 day a week at 6:30 am waste Management dumps 6-8yard cans with excess noise. park insists on leaving tops open so on hot days wet trash smells with the NE winds. residents use the trash are as a dump site for all the old household goods and used oils. Not to mention outsiders come on the property to dispose of their trash or rummage for scrap at all hours of the night. truly sad! Shame on Encore ... make Harbor Lake great again.

The community was very well maintained. I loved the wildlife and the walking areas. The community of residents were extremely nice! I felt safe and my site was an end site so I appreciated the space compared to other spots.

Wonderful stay, I was there for 21 day and had a great time. The staff are outstanding, and the park is kept spotless!! people are friendly and the atmosphere is beautiful. I travel with Thousands Trails full time and stayed in there resorts all winter of 2024 and this was the best encore park I have stayed at. I WILL BE BACK IN 2025 !!!!

Staff exceptional facilities maintained daily and all common areas kept very clean. We participate in interpark activities and based on other RV resorts in the area, harbor lakes RV Resort is outstanding, in a class of its own.

Anthills, fire ants. No shade. No picnic table. Small debris all over the site. Cabins look cute and well cared for, but our site was extremely unpleasant and overpriced. We do not recommend staying here in an RV, at least if you get stuck in the field in the middle of the park.

Nice place, wide road, nice staff and people from everywhere un North America. Beautiful place to stay for short or long stays. The place is safe and there is a neighbor watch which make the place safer

I truly wish all rv parks had roads like these. We had a premium site and it was huge with nice wide roads. We loved our stay and our kids loved the fact that they had room to play. The pool has a basketball hoop for kids as well which was alot of fun.
