Conifer Beach House

We stayed two nights at Conifer Guest House as the last stop on our Garden Route trip (via BazBus) and for a day trip to Addo. Communication via WhatsApp prior to our arrival worked well. We were happy with our room, breakfast was great and everybody was really friendly. You can walk to the beach/waterfront, but not many restaurant options close-by.

Traveled with a few learners for a competition at PE and the host (Junita) made sure our booking was done according to our preference. The host made sure that the there was someone waiting for our late check in, since we were traveling late at night. The location is perfect! close to the beach, yet not a noisy neighborhood and also located close to restaurants. The rooms were fairly clean but loved the fact that each room had an iron board, iron and a hairdryer. The bathroom is modern but some showers don't have a cover glass or a door, which makes a mess because the water spreads around half of the bathroom. The DSTV channels are more, very rare at a business place. The kids really enjoyed the variety of channels. The beds are very comfortable, you'd wish not to wake up if your on a business trip. Since we came with a mini bus, they organised a special parking for us, they also have unlimited WIFI connection and a portable swimming pool that would be nice for relaxing on a nice sunny day. Their stuff members are super friendly! (High Five to them) Always looked forward to their breakfast because it was delicious and they always asked us the preferred time for breakfast which was one of the biggest highlight. It naturally felt like home. The ONLY hiccup we received from the BnB was not having electricity for almost two days, although the issue was beyond their control. Was a municipal issue. I just wish they could invest on getting more of backup powers. Only a few rooms were running on back-up. Either than that, would recommend anyone traveling that side to consider Conifer Beach House.

The hosts went out of their way to assist us and make us feel welcome and comfortable. We had a good nights sleep and a lovely breakfast. We needed to have a meeting with someone within PE and they graciously gave us a private meeting room to conduct our business. I look forward to continue staying here whenever we need accommodation in PE.

Amazing staff, the ladies were so nice and inviting. Breakfast was great and rooms were clean and well taken care off. Never had any issues with service or staff and I love how friendly everyone is . Thanks

Conifer Guesthouse was ok, brekfast was yummy, stafff friendly, only issue was the room was a bit small for a family of 3, very little cupboard space for 3 people. There's also no kitchenette or atleast a washup space. The shower drain was blocked and smelled disgusting on the first day and night, they unblocked it but the smell was less bad but still not gone. Also had an issue with Ants in the room. The location is great, walking distance from King's Beach and restuarants, wind was very bad every day, we couldnt take walks.

Very warm welcome, very helpful with everything, room was quiet and roomy, breakfast was very tasty and enough, parking lot on the property, we had in our room all the time electric power despite several shut offs, we will come again!

We booked a 4 day stay to come and watch IPT water polo. The guest house was lovely and conveniently located for us to do some touristy / holiday things as well as to drive to watch all the games. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms are lovely and comfortable and clean.

On my trip to SA, Port Elizabeth was my first stop and the starting point for my garden route tour. I was extremely warmly welcomed by Junita and all of her staff. The rooms are clean and provide all necessities (even a fridge, microwave etc). The breakfast is delicious and staying at Conifer Guest House was the perfect beginning to my trip! Many thanks to Junita, Sam and all the other wonderful ladies that do an amzing job at this guest house!!
