Port Isla Inn

I very much like this place it's a good price for the room that I have rented twice in the past year and it's close to everything not much interaction with the staff just the check in and check out which have never had issues with I will be staying here for upcoming stays

Room was filthy the sleeper sofa had dirty sock crusty and so much dust we didn't sleep there. I ended up renting a condo at Isla Grand. Waste of money.

We booked a 2 bedroom suite MONTHS in advance and when we arrived they only had a 1 bedroom suite available for us. What's the point of booking a room in advance if they don't actually reserve it for you? There were no soaps, no shampoos, and no extra pillows or sheets for the fold out couch. The coffee maker was clean but there were no filters (we brought our own coffee). There are two TV's and only one remote, the TV cord was coming out of a hole in the wall plugged into an extension cord that was plugged into an outlet and the smoke detector in the entry room was ripped off of the roof leaving exposed wires and put in a drawer. The positives were that the a/c and heat worked very well, there were no strange smells, shower was hot (we brought our own scent-free shampoo and soap), and the 1 bed we did get was comfortable. If you're just looking for a place to sleep it wasn't all bad (if we both had beds) but anything more than that I'd look elsewhere.

Owners and workers were very nice,quiet clean,close to every thing would stay again!

Nice & quite very clean. nice & clean swimming pool. area close to Walmart, Heb, Starbucks. Lots of restaurants close by

Bulb on the first room not working; in the 2nd bedroom, no bulb in the bed side lamp; comode unstable.

no greeting/welcome upon checkin. Had to talk thru a walkup nite window. Not allowed inside. he asked for ID and gave me room key. I had to ask where on the property it was located. no battery in remote for tv. signal not always good for tv. when housekeeping came by they only emptied trash in kitchen. No where else. Towels /wash cloths had brown stains. On the trim to closet by tube looked like someone has a cut and got blood on wall. NOTIHING is supplied in kitchen. Paper towels would have been nice (for spills) there is a coffee maker and small microwave. We were to be there 3 nites but checked out day early. When I checked out he did not even ask how our stay was. I said we were checking out early and his response was ok. For individuals needing small studio for extended time and have their own kitchen supplies it probably would work. I didn't care for the pay ahead and nothing is refundable or that you can not book direct. Seems management wants as little contact with public as they can.

I have been in hotels during Third World countries that were better and cleaner than this. This place is a genuine dump if I wasn’t so tired, I wouldn’t have checked in.

Early check was available.. Bed was comfortable,, pillows very fluffy, cleanliness was top notch .. highly recommend will be back soon
