Booked this hotel to break up our trip from Brissie to Sydney. Couldn’t really fault it! We were upgraded to a room with a view of the water. Room was spacious and clean. I loved their full size toiletries. Food at the restaurant was good and it came with free parking. Only thing is we wished the deck closer to the water that had fairy lights was open . Would’ve been a perfect place to have some cocktails at the end of the day watching the sun go down.

Very tired motel needs a good renovation. Beds were comfy though. Ask for a room off the street it’s situated on a busy noisy road and the rooms are far from double glazed glass. Extremely rude lady on reception on arrival was not welcoming at all.

We love this hotel, it's super easy for us to come with our camper trailer and find space for it. We always stay in the ground level rooms that exit out onto the waterfront. It's just a short 2 minute walk to the Westport Club (nextdoor) and a short walk into town to all the other restaurants and bars. We have had room service once which was very good.

Absolutely beautiful stay! Family friendly, beautiful location. Rooms and amenities were brand new and well looked after. Loved having our own private outdoor area with amazing views all around

Lovely overnight stay at Waters Edge. Strolled to shops and waterfront easily and enjoyed a delicious meal
In the restaurant. Staff were friendly and room clean and comfortable!
Will stay again.

Great location near the water within walking distance of restaurants, walking path etc. Stopover on our way home from Christmas holidays.
Restaurant/bar on site. Outdoor sitting areas with views.
Only criticisms (small) are lack of Hot/cold tap coding in renovated bathroom and we had no tissues, otherwise all good for what we needed.

The photo and room that I booked did not reflect the actual room I stayed in .
King size bed was an illusion of 2 king singles pushed together , we had a view of the car park and was promised water views .

We booked for NYE so of course the price was higher as we expected, and my first phone interaction with Sue was lovely but sadly when we arrived it was disheartening,
loads of house keeping washing piled in the hallway,
stained and damaged carpet in the hallway and dated common area,
the room was clean modern, neat and tidy but the walls paper thin and could hear all the rooms around us
When leaving the room the door had to be closed by hand a tad unsafe as all doors to out side open and passing foot traffic can enter the premises
worst part was opening the sliding door onto balcony not only ours but we could hear when the neighbours opened theirs (the true loud noise of nails down a chalkboard)
so sad that even after another name change it has not improved.
