Stayed for two nights and even a little reluctant to leave. It was a very meticulous and caring person to talk to the boss and his wife. Nearly ten years of running, every detail was thought of in advance. Floor heating + air conditioning, northerners are also safe to spend the winter. The terrace has a beautiful scenery, the pool is facing the distant mountains and the ancient town, and the proprietress has a modern remote water discharge. The breakfast was extremely rich, the aunts smiled and greeted them, and immediately got busy, rice noodles, thin soy powder fritters, boiled dumplings, scallion cakes, and various coarse grain staples and small steamed points, just like at home. I like the tea room in the lobby the most. Everyone sits together and chats and drinks tea. It is an unexpected surprise during the trip. At night, I have a brazier, roast corn, roast sweet potatoes, roast small oranges, make tea in the stove, and make red mud small stove. One big and one small cat is very clingy, running around, even holding for a while, well-behaved. Will definitely recommend to friends 👏 The new store is positioned higher, and you must experience it next time!

The service of the three bosses and the breakfast made by the aunt is so good that I actively want to write a good review for them! But there are two things I hope can be upgraded and improved: 1. The toilet does not have flushing and seat heating functions. You can consider upgrading to one with these two functions; 2. There is only one shower room in a multi-bedroom family room, which will inevitably lead to embarrassing situations. Is it possible to plan an additional bathroom? Hygiene: The room and everywhere are very neat and clean. The cleaning aunt is also very frequent, and even fallen leaves are not common. Environment: The environment cannot be said. It is located in the Yunfeng Mountain Scenic Area. It is quiet and beautiful, with flowing water and colorful fallen flowers. If it were not for too few holidays, I really want to stay here for a while. Service: The service can be described as meticulous. Among the snacks, there is a dish of black truffle fried rice that received unanimous praise from us. In addition, there are freshly squeezed juices and fresh fruits, which are very rich. Leisure time afternoon tea: Afternoon tea can be delivered to the room. We had just finished soaking in the hot springs and were enjoying afternoon tea while watching a drama comfortably on the sofa. The dendrobium tea in the afternoon tea was very special and had a pleasant fragrance. Special hot pot dinner: The side dishes of mushroom soup hot pot are very rich. I thought it was not enough, but later I couldn't finish it. Generally speaking, it is highly recommended. 2023 Tengchong New Year's Eve After landing in the small town, I first chose Heshun Bailian, located in the west of Heshun Ancient Town, which is also one of the most anticipated destinations for this trip. I have always heard the name of Bailian, but its extremely low-key marketing, and the indescribable experience, but also have personal experience to be more true. The hotel is located on the west side of the ancient town. There will be a special car to pick up and drop off the airport, and there will be a special shuttle bus to and from the ancient town. The location of the entire hotel is in the quietest corner of the ancient town, but it is suitable for walking back to the hotel in the evening to face the sunset. There is a thousand-year-old tree landscape inside the hotel (Figure 1). The ancient trees under the sunset show a very vigorous vitality. The thousand-year time is turned into a circle of annual rings, quiet and peaceful, solemn and mysterious. The decoration of the hotel is in a new Chinese style, and large pieces of teak have built the structural skeleton of the building. The overall style not only does not appear old-fashioned, but has a comfortable order. One grass, one wood, one light and one shadow, all expressing the concealment and implicitness of modern Chinese aesthetics. Whether it is the early morning twilight, or the sun in the afternoon, through the unold pine potted plants in front of the door, time seems to be low and silent, and there is a glance for thousands of years. The hotel's hot springs are also a very big highlight and surprise. Although the room is equipped with private soup, I went to the hotel's outdoor hot springs for the two nights of my stay. More than a dozen soup pools are hidden between different jungles. Tree shadows, grass shadows, moon shadows, star shadows, echoing each other, complementing each other. The look up is a little bit of stars, the head is transpiration mist, time and space are staggered, and the star shifts. Tossing around in different bubble pools, an hour or two will pass soon. With a mouthful of ice cola brought from the hotel, the bubble pool at 40℃ has a special flavor. The service is also not said, from the beginning of the stay, the housekeeper intimately asked. Even in the peak season of the New Year, the villa room type has been upgraded. Miss Aileen introduced the room type to arrange a car to the ancient town, not only presented a fragrance tea experience, but also prepared take-out breakfast and souvenirs on the day of check-out. Although the hotel breakfast is not many, it is exquisite. The bait and rice noodles cooked on the spot are very good. The two-day trip was hasty and short, but I will remember the afternoon at the end of 23 years sitting in the Bailian living room looking out the window, the sun is golden, the vegetation is green, the world is natural, everything is smooth.

The hotel is mainly cleaners who are too lazy. At the beginning, they cleaned up the room and did not give better bath towels. Later, it was impossible to clean the house for two or three days. On several occasions, the two bottles of free water prepared in the room were not given. In short, the service is not good. If the hotel is a Samsung hotel or below, it is still OK. If it is a four-star hotel, it is not a good hotel. In the photo below, there is a towel for two bath towels and a towel when you first check in. Isn't it two towels? In addition, the hotel's meals are expensive, and there are not many styles

If have known and stayed at this hotel many times, albeit the last time almost 10 years ago. Then it had the reputation of being on of th best, perhaps ”the best” hotel in port Moresby. Upon a recent trip to the Goroka Show, we decided to stay there again. The Airways is conveniently close to Port Jackson airport, however demands a rather high price, which we were willing to pay based on my previous experience. The staff, all of them were friendly and helpful. The room was a disappointment! We attempted to change but were refused, hence had to endure. Two major shortcomings stood out: the bathroom was super-small. Not able to swing a mouse (definitely not a cat). You almost had to enter backwards to make it to the toilet seat. The shower cubicle seemed dirty (see pix). Was it crusted blood or something else. In any case: neither comfortable , nor re-assuring. The one-and-only window looked out, on the staff walkway, half-ways up an ugly concrete passage. Subsequently no sunshine, hardly any daylight entered this room. Fortunately we stayed only one night and subsequently changed our booking to another hotel on our way back. I certainly cannot recommend the Airways Hotel after this experience.

I was passing through POM on business, this was a one night stay at Citi Boutique Hotel. Was pleasantly surprised . Rooms were modern and very clean. Mine had an excellent new A/C, new TV, large bed (queen size) , small fridge, good blackout blinds. I was picked up from the airport by hotel shuttle and returned the next morning. I had a beer on the rooftop terrace, very pleasant outlook of Boroko. Dined in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Food was ok , but service times are long. Suggest you order , and have food delivered to room. I saw many other guests doing this. Every staff member, including shuttle driver, reception, restaurant manager Jacinta, waitresses, housemaids were helpful, polite and very friendly. A real credit to the hotel. I would happily return to the Citi Boutique, for good, comfortable, non-pretenious accomodation in the heart of Boroko. The hotel is right next to a major sports stadium, and has good security .

Arrival was late in evening and airport pick up was very much appreciated . 24 hour room service also convenient and efficient . Had a delightful Caesar Salad and the reasonable price of 50PGK ($14USD). Fresh lettuce and good freshly cooked bacon pieces. Alarm set for 5am by hotel and again transport to the airport. Bath great with plenty hot water and beds very comfortable .Pleasant staff and helpful with quick response to tv query and Porter to room on arrival . Would stay again and definitely recommend for other travelers . Restaurant open till 10pm .

My siblings and I checked in yesterday 23.07.21. they were the first to check in since I was still at work. I have booked a two single bed room since there are 4 rooms available online, however upon check in, a one bed room was given and I was not advised, when I went in I realized, also the door cannot be locked, any one can just push open the door from the outside, AC was ineffective, and water dripping down from the AC vent and the bath room sink tap faucet lever was difficult to lift up, the floor also had a crack and a hole, so I went to the front desk and advise. an extra bed was brought in and it was an old one which you could clearly see stains on and only two B/sheets and a pillow with no duvet cover so I had to ask the house keeping staff to place the stuffs on the table so I can make the bed myself. In the Morning the next day I have advised Duty Manager and the receptionist that I will be checking out at 12.30,couple of staffs came knocking on the door before 12.30 without even mentioning if they are from house keeping, told them that I have advised front desk that I will be checking out at 12.30. Overall very bad impression, IHG has standards, before checking in a guest please make sure that the room does not have issues also remind your staff of departure courtesy. NOTE: Both DMgrs were generous enough.

From the bottom of my heart and on behalf of my family, I would like to thank you all so much for the warm hospitality given to me and my family (25.06.2023) yesterday. It was such a memorial day as we celebrated two (2) events in one. My son's 16th birthday turned out successfully with the kind and lovely staff, on the floor, yesterday. My heart is still filled with so much gratitude for their assistance yesterday. I was also caught off guard yesterday when my partner proposed, during the event which was a shock to everyone present, even the staff. But honestly, we, my partner and I cannot thank you enough for the weeks of planning and finally having a successful celebration of the event yesterday. This was my first stay at Crowne Plaza Residences. I’ve been coming to Port Moresby on business since 2015 and the Crowne Plaza Residences are fairly new (I would previously stay at Grand Papua or The Crown). I loved it here! The reception staff were friendly & professional & there were a business centre with a pod coffee machine where I was able to meet with PNG colleagues. My room was massive (big enough for a family!) with 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms and balconies overlooking Ela Beach & APEC Haus. The wifi worked well & I was able to easily work from the hotel in between meetings. The hotel is close to everything - just a short walk to Revenue Haus & next door to Deloitte Haus. The Port Terrace Bar is just outside (beautiful views over Fairfax harbour, especially at sunset!) & part of the hotel for room service charges. I met here with advisors from Deloitte Haus, had dinner here each night as well as room service for breakfast and the menu was interesting & food was great.

My siblings and I checked in yesterday 23.07.21. they were the first to check in since I was still at work. I have booked a two single bed room since there are 4 rooms available online, however upon check in, a one bed room was given and I was not advised, when I went in I realized, also the door cannot be locked, any one can just push open the door from the outside, AC was ineffective, and water dripping down from the AC vent and the bath room sink tap faucet lever was difficult to lift up, the floor also had a crack and a hole, so I went to the front desk and advise. an extra bed was brought in and it was an old one which you could clearly see stains on and only two B/sheets and a pillow with no duvet cover so I had to ask the house keeping staff to place the stuffs on the table so I can make the bed myself. In the Morning the next day I have advised Duty Manager and the receptionist that I will be checking out at 12.30,couple of staffs came knocking on the door before 12.30 without even mentioning if they are from house keeping, told them that I have advised front desk that I will be checking out at 12.30. Overall very bad impression, IHG has standards, before checking in a guest please make sure that the room does not have issues also remind your staff of departure courtesy. NOTE: Both DMgrs were generous enough.

I’ve been coming to Port Moresby on business since 2015 and the Crowne Plaza Residences are fairly new (I would previously stay at Grand Papua or The Crown). I loved it here! The reception staff were friendly & professional & there were a business centre with a pod coffee machine where I was able to meet with PNG colleagues. My room was massive (big enough for a family!) with 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms and balconies overlooking Ela Beach & APEC Haus. The wifi worked well & I was able to easily work from the hotel in between meetings. The hotel is close to everything - just a short walk to Revenue Haus & next door to Deloitte Haus. The Port Terrace Bar is just outside (beautiful views over Fairfax harbour, especially at sunset!) & part of the hotel for room service charges. I met here with advisors from Deloitte Haus, had dinner here each night as well as room service for breakfast and the menu was interesting & food was great.

If have known and stayed at this hotel many times, albeit the last time almost 10 years ago. Then it had the reputation of being on of th best, perhaps ”the best” hotel in port Moresby. Upon a recent trip to the Goroka Show, we decided to stay there again. The Airways is conveniently close to Port Jackson airport, however demands a rather high price, which we were willing to pay based on my previous experience. The staff, all of them were friendly and helpful. The room was a disappointment! We attempted to change but were refused, hence had to endure. Two major shortcomings stood out: the bathroom was super-small. Not able to swing a mouse (definitely not a cat). You almost had to enter backwards to make it to the toilet seat. The shower cubicle seemed dirty (see pix). Was it crusted blood or something else. In any case: neither comfortable , nor re-assuring. The one-and-only window looked out, on the staff walkway, half-ways up an ugly concrete passage. Subsequently no sunshine, hardly any daylight entered this room. Fortunately we stayed only one night and subsequently changed our booking to another hotel on our way back. I certainly cannot recommend the Airways Hotel after this experience.
