"This place was as amazing as the photos. I had an overnight layover in Port Moresby and having heard it’s the most iconic hotel in the city, I had to check it out. It didn’t disappoint, with amazing views of the airport, friendly help with transfers, and a lovely restaurant right over an old DC-3 in the middle of the grounds. An avgeek traveler’s paradise!"

For guests staying longer than a week, it can get quite tedious having the same menu every day. Additionally, the staff could be more welcoming. "Very good overall. Excellent location especially for anyone attending rugby league match as hotel is right next to stadium. Only issue was there was no representative at the airport on arrival to arrange transfer to hotel. However, other representatives contacted the hotel and the transport arrived"

"The hotel itself is very good. It’s safely guarded by security staff. Room is clean and spacious. The breakfast is complimentary and delicious. There is a free shuttle service from and to the airport. I was however waiting for 1.45 hours for the pick up service for a 15-minute trip so I was far from happy when I arrived. The receptionists were apologetic and later kindly helped arrange a transport for me."

"First impression overall was my search for indoor elavators. As I am a plus size woman and had returned from a remote place therefore me returning to the city I expect the best night out to spend with family. I already got irritated walking and climbing up stairs just to get to our room. Also the air conditioning in the rooms are cool enough, something I think the management must look into and upgrade. The located is ideal as is it situated just close to the Jackson's International Airport but needs upgrading. All in all our stay was smooth despite, great complimentary breakfast though."
