CORAL PORT SUDAN HOTEL

Wi-Fi didn’t work, the cafe took over an hour to deliver food. Ordered shawarma to room and paid $25 for a something that was awful - two small *****s of chicken, four fries and two pickles! Air conditioning was none existant. Customer service didn’t exist. Cold showers only!! Food in the buffet - most of it was too risky to try. I stuck to chips and bread for the few days I was there. No one was interested in serving you. And the room keys / they never worked. It was as though they were ‘one time use only’ and then you needed to go back to the desk to get it recharged. I do not recommend this place - building is tired but the customer service is even more tired and non existant!

Was told it was the best hotel in town. Hotel was old and not properly maintained. Service was slow. Breakfast didn’t appeal and bringing coffee took the staff 30minutes. When we went back for lunch, breakfast table we sat at wasn’t even cleared. We had lunch there and until we left at 6pm, table was again not cleared and this was despite the hotel being quite empty. Common toilets were horrible and disgusting. We asked the receptionist to have someone clean it but it was not done. Unfortunately my impression of Port Sudan was casted cos of the hotel we stayed in.
