The staff at Premier Inn Porthmadog are friendly. Especially the barman Martin who is always happy to help and gives a great welcome he's a star. Well recommended and the drinks and food are always presented well. Lovely hotel located in Gwynedd.

Stay here often for work and what a grate place to stay, All the staff are a friendly bunch, (especially Martin) and nothing is a bother! The Manager's are brilliant people and extremely helpful. Would highly recommend staying here and book your table in the restaurant in advance of your stay to avoid disappointment!

Often stay at this premier inn at Porthmadog. Always a friendly atmosphere. Staff are very helpful and welcoming. A special mention to Martin who always goes above and beyond everytime we visit. The location is superb with the sea on one side and a backdrop of the mountains on the other. Would highly recommend

Great hotel. Reasonable price, great facilities and excellent location. The staff are all amazing. We went to the restaurant and were served by scous Chris. He was wonderful as always. We have been multiple times and they've always been great. There was also a lady doing the dinner service last night (6th) who was wonderful to our children. Unfortunately I don't know her name but she is northern and lovely. She was so kind to the kids and I will definitely get her name before we leave. Can't recommend enough.

I was absolutely delighted by the exceptional experience this hotel provided. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the staff, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The location of the hotel is superb, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding Welsh countryside and easy access to the charming town of Porthmadog. It's the perfect base for exploring the stunning natural beauty of Snowdonia National Park and the nearby coastline. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and well-appointed, with a wonderfully comfortable bed that provided a restful night's sleep. The modern amenities, including free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and tea and coffee-making facilities, added to the convenience and comfort of my stay. One of the highlights was the hotel's on-site restaurant, where I enjoyed a delicious breakfast (Thanks Chris & Kate). The extensive buffet offered a wide variety of fresh and tasty options, catering to all dietary preferences. What truly sets Porthmadog Premier Inn apart is the exceptional level of service. Every member of the team was friendly (especially Kate & Chris), attentive, and eager to assist with any request. (Thanks Rob) In summary, Porthmadog Premier Inn exceeded all my expectations and provided a wonderful retreat in a picturesque setting. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and look forward to returning in the future. Five stars all the way!

The hotel is beautiful. Very clean. Great helpful staff. Lovely food. Only problem was noise from upstairs room keeping us awake. Apparently there are other reviews concerning the noise. I can only put it down to a terrible building design or lack of insulation. The noise was like people jumping up and down and dropping bricks. I would only stay here again on the top floor. It’s a shame. The rest of the hotel was outstanding.

Over on our second trip from the US and had booked 3 nights at the Portmeirion Hotel, however they cancelled our first night due to a technical issue which couldn’t be fixed until the next day ( this had developed very last minute ) so we needed somewhere to stay, we spotted the Premier Inn and went in to have a look and to enquire about a room, we were greeted by Ryan, who gave us all the information we needed and was incredibly friendly! He helped us make the booking and even managed to get us a room overlooking the mountains! We had dinner at the restaurant later that evening, we were served by Fion & Martin at the bar, nothing was too much trouble for either of them! We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, but it smelled great! We would highly recommend this hotel & are even considering booking several nights here upon our return next year.

OK hotel at a high price. Good restaurant at reasonable price. Room very stark - eg only one drawer.
