The Paramount Hotel Portland

This was our second stay at the Paramount. We love this hotel. It is centrally located and there are many shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. The rooms are clean and well appointed. Being in the middle of downtown it can be a bit noisy but we are not light sleepers. This stay, we were able to book one of the rooms with a front balcony. It's fun to sit outside with a cup of coffee and people watch. The highlight was the Thursday Night Ride - a party on wheels - passing by the hotel.

Could have been better if room service has check room has top up bathing amenities for new checkin guest. We check in with the shampoo bottle empty.

Pros: close to my office and walking distance to quite a few restaurants. Cons: stains on bed linens, no full length mirror in room, staff could be more helpful-I wanted to avoid the $65 valet and asked about nearby parking and basically got a “not sure”-there is no self parking available but multiple garages nearby (I’d use fox tower again), $10 credit won’t even pay for a breakfast so be prepared for that, no pool even though I added it as a filter when I was searching.

Clean enough. Front desk staff was not so friendly. I wish they had free parking space for guests.

The property was beautiful and in the perfect location. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was super comfortable. The restaurant on the property was delicious...I would recommend staying here to anyone.

This was a great experience. The staff was helpful, the room was clean. But there was no microwave in the room.

It locates very convenient place in downtown. Parkings and restaurants are close. It is good hotel.
