The Duniway Portland, A Hilton Hotel

The entire property is rather old and dark. Absolutely do not accept any rooms on the 11th floor; the swimming pool is on this floor, and the disinfectant smell in the guest rooms is incredibly strong. I couldn't stand it anymore and asked the front desk to change rooms in the middle of the night. The service wasn't bad, just very unprofessional, and everyone seemed very busy and tired. After confirming for a long time, the front desk still charged me for two extra days of parking. The hotel's location is good; downtown isn't too chaotic.

1. The hotel randomly increased the price for no apparent reason, but the person staying on the same floor the day before didn't get charged. Other guests also didn't get charged! 2. The staff lied. 3. I was assaulted every day at the hotel. I changed rooms one day, and the hotel ignored me the next. I'll leave a review later!

This is considered a very good hotel in the US. The room size is decent, the front desk service is good, and parking at $35 a day is the cheapest among nearby hotels. The garage is bright and clean, and parking on the third floor is very safe. The breakfast is good.
