Excellent in all! Location, service and apartment. Family trip I rent 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms !!! 100% recommended!!

They force you to except "house rules" on the check-in day but none of these rules mentioned on the policies of the hotel during booking such as cleaning the kitchen, do the dishes, throw all the trash... If you even forget 1 bathroom trash or forget to start the dishwasher, they deduct 50 Euros from your deposit. Also there is serious hot water problem, no hot water after 2 showers.

Everything was satisfactory, including the good location and facilities. In particular, the location was good enough to walk to most of the major tourist attractions.

First of all, this is not a hotel-like accommodation as we think. It seems like someone who owns a few apartment rooms is renting them out like Airbnb. It says breakfast is included, but it is not actually provided. Since there is no staff or reception, it is likely that the items described in the concierge service will be difficult to provide. After the reservation is completed, the person who is supposed to be in the room keeps asking for the expected arrival time. They said that they will deliver the room key to you according to your arrival time. If the time does not work out, they will tell you how to get the key. Anyway, it seemed like a place with many problems, so I actually did not stay there. There were many problems with the accommodation regarding the cancellation, but it was handled quickly and satisfactorily thanks to Trip.com's service. I would give the lowest rating for the accommodation and the highest rating for Trip.com's service.

Helpful people. Clean comfortable unit in a great location. Nice to have breakfast option even if we had to cook. Shower was nice size.

Fantastic apartment. Marta and the team are excellent with communication and advice. Super clean, spotless and great location. Book direct with them for a reduction! Definitely recommended. Stayed with them on a couple of visits to Porto and would book again!

Excellent location, close to the centre and the river and apartment had everything we needed and was beautiful. Best thing is hosts who are available on whatts app chat whenever needed. Our room was ready early and they let us know, so we were lucky and got early access. Someone met us and came to the room to show us how everything worked and organised taxis back etc. Feels very secure and our room was quiet. Would return to these apartments and no hesitation recommending .

Casas do Porto is simply the best! The hospitality here is amazing. Prior to our visit, the host reached out to us with detailed guidance to support our stay.We ordered breakfast foods and fresh bread every day, and everything was delicious! The apartment itself is spotless, modern, and gorgeous, featuring great views from the balcony and windows.The location is perfect for a late-night gelato or a yummy port wine, and it sits just up the street from a wonderful Fado restaurant. This is our family's third stay here, and we would never stay anywhere else!Barbara and staff, Muito obrigada!!!!!"

We stayed at Casas do Porto Ribeira Aparments for two nights at the beginning of June. As a mature couple with our adult daughter, the two-bedroom apartment met our needs at a much lower cost than nearby hotels. We had a great stay in this excellent location: one block uphill from the Palacio da Bolsa (worth a visit and tour); a short walk to the riverfront; around the corner from the plaza at Rua das Flores where street musicians perform; and near Castro for the best pasteis de nata in Porto. Friendly communication by WhatsApp started two days before our stay so we could pre-register, pay the fees, coordinate our arrival time with Marta. She provided detailed instructions, set us up with keys, and sent us useful restaurant recommendations. Check out was easy and the location works well for Uber pickup. Daily bread delivery for our breakfasts was wonderful – with sweet croissant and whole grain rolls. Breakfast included milk, juice,yogurt, eggs, and cereal. The small kitchen (a bit tight on counter space) was adequate for preparing our breakfast, including stove-top expresso maker and electric coffee pod machine. Preparing our own breakfast saved time and money to start each day. Marta cautioned about the limited hot water capacity in the apartment, but with our different shower times, we never ran out. The bathroom was a good size and well-appointed. Beds were comfortable. Street noise was not an issue. The apartment was clean, well-organized, and nicely decorated. We even made use of the small balcony to dry some hand-washed clothing, following the example of neighboring apartments across the street. We booked direct via the Casas do Porto website, and we would stay gain based on price and location – this was a very good value for such a central location.

We stayed for 6 nights at the end of April 2026 in an Urban Two Bedroom apartment, and we were very pleased with the accommodation and the location. Although the staff don't live on site, communications was easy via email, and before we landed they setup a WhatsApp group with us, which was really handy for us, allowing us to ask questions whilst we were in Porto. We had arranged a taxi from the airport, but the driver was late, and Marta kept checking in with us to make sure we were OK, and she stayed late to welcome us to the apartment. When the washing up liquid was running low, we just mentioned it via WhatsApp and the cleaners topped it up that day. We were also able to coordinate when the cleaners would clean the apartment, so it didn’t affect our day. We had been slightly concerned about the risk of street noise, and there were a couple of nights when there were people lined up in the street below waiting to get into restaurants, but the noise stopped at 11pm, and overnight it was very quiet. The lift / elevator was completely silent. We never had any problem with hot water in the shower. The room safe in our room was quite small, I could only get our 10 inch tablets in by holding it at the diagonal. As we stayed for 6 nights, we received the breakfast for free, which was very tasty and the cereals lasted us all the time we were there! There is an ice cream parlour next door which stays open late, and the ice-creams were wonderful. We also recommend the Port Tasting at Oportuno, which is in the street behind the apartment, and Cellar 47 for wine tasting just a few doors down from the apartment. We spent our days wandering around the old, cobbled streets, enjoying many of the restaurants, and of course the river cruise to see the bridges.

We spent four nights in a two‑bedroom apartment and had a fantastic stay. Barbara and Marta were incredibly helpful from start to finish, arranging taxis for us and even booking an excellent food tour. The location is ideal,close to the river, with Porto being such an easy city to explore on foot. We also ordered the breakfast, which was plentiful and made life easy. Each morning we had fresh bread, fruit, yoghurts, eggs, cereals etc..The apartment itself was lovely, spacious and comfortable, and I would highly recommend staying here over a hotel.
