Hotel Moderne

Perfectly located on the pedestrian street in Porto Vecchio, the hotel breakfast was great and good value. The room was big enough and the hotel also offers parking, although some distance away. Would definitely return.

We were welcomed by a pleasant person. After we checked in, she showed us to our room. We had breakfast on their rooftop, which was nice, but when we brought back some things we bought from the bakery, we were told that we could not “picnic” up there. 2nd issue was the band and singing that happened both nights we stayed. Granted it was on Fri & Sat eve, but we felt the thumping and vocals through the walls. I think we were directly above them. Very disappointing and we won’t be returning.

Very kind and helpful hosts. Newly renovated lovely hotel . Modern and clean . With roof top for drinks and a beautiful view. Great location . Perfect. We were there only a night but would return for a longer stay. Highly recommend in Porto vecchio.

Very beautiful place, modern and minimalist. Service is very good. The bed is extra comfortable. Our only negative point would be the fee for the parking (in our opinion, unnecessary and inconvenient for a hotel of this standing…). Might better be included in the room fare …

The title says it all, this is an absolute gem! The hotel is in the center of Porto Vecchio and everything you need is in walking distance. Our room had a great design and offered everything we needed. The staff was lovely and helped us with all of our questions. The cherry on top is definitely the rooftop bar. You have the most amazing view over town from there. Only thing that was not great was that the blinds didn't fully close so the room was quite light as of early in the morning. But we would definitely stay here again.

This was our final stop of our 10 days in Sardinia and Corsica so we decided to end on a high by booking the superb suite. We were so glad we did. It was spotlessly clean and very spacious and we loved the large covered balcony. Even better, it was available early, and after our two night stay, we were also kindly granted a late check out. All the staff at the hotel were excellent. Emilien organised our transfers from Bonifacio and also to Figari airport. Excellent driver with large comfortable car. We were kindly provided with extra Nespresso pods and enjoyed our breakfasts on our private balcony. There is a bakery very close by. The position in the centre of this beautiful village was perfect. Weather was mostly kind but we did experience a brief thunderstorm which we marvelled at from our covered balcony watching lightning strike nearby hills! Thunder and pouring rain added to the drama. The water view from the suite was also sensational. Highly recommend this boutique hotel, aptly named Moderne, because everything is stylishly new and modern throughout. Do go up to the communal fifth floor terrace for 360 degree views of Porto-Vecchio. You can also enjoy breakfast and a drink there but we preferred our own private terrace for that.
