Grand Hotel Bernardin

We had a bit of a disappointing start to our stay, as the initial room we were given did not meet our expectations of a sea view from the balcony. When we raised this at the reception, we were told the hotel was fully booked and that no changes were possible, which was quite discouraging. However, everything changed thanks to Sara at the front desk. Although she mentioned she was new, she handled the situation in a very customer-oriented and professional way. She showed genuine willingness to help and, despite the circumstances, managed to find a solution for us and arranged a room change, which completely turned our experience around. We truly appreciate her positive attitude, effort, and approach — especially in contrast to the initial response we received. Thanks to Sara, our stay became enjoyable, and we would definitely be happy to return in the future.

Fantastic hotel and service. The position is excellent, very peaceful environment and in between Piran and Portorož. Rooms are very comfortable and guests are allowed to use hotel pool and pool from nearby hotel Histrion. The view from the rooms are spectacular. Worth every penny.

The room rate is fairly expensive at over ISD400 per night while there is not even water given in the room. The most disappointing thing is the air conditioning is locked and cannot be adjusted. Overall, it is not worth the money
