Boutique Hotel Portorose

Room 712 isn't even a 3-star room. The air conditioning was unbearably noisy, and the entrance door had to be pushed because it would get stuck just 30 cents from opening. On the second day, maintenance came and put in a towel rack and a soap dish. That's too much.

Positive points: Nice pool, friendly staff, rooms OK, and extensive (standard) breakfast buffet. Negative points: Limited number of parking spaces, with extra costs (120 euros for five nights), in a very cramped parking garage. The hotel itself lacks character; not a boutique hotel despite the name. The hotel safe in our room was broken. Therefore, too expensive in terms of price/quality.

The hotel is very close to the beach, just a few minutes' walk away. Parking costs €19, and charging is free. The rooms are quiet and soundproof, and the multi-functional socket in the bathroom even works with Chinese plugs. It's a pity we arrived late and left early, so we didn't get to enjoy the indoor pool and spa. The hotel breakfast was plentiful and varied, and excellent!

There was a problem with this hotel. When we checked in, they said the bathroom was broken and asked us to change rooms. After we changed rooms, they said the next day it was fixed and asked us to change back. It made us feel like we had to go back and change rooms while we were traveling. Secondly, sometimes the apartment building doesn't have security at night. Uh, when we stayed there, someone came knocking on our door for half an hour. We didn't know who it was, and we were too scared to open the door. Anyway, it wasn't a good night.

It was pretty good, I'd recommend it. I booked a basic room on the ground floor; a room on the second floor would have been better. I wasn't assigned to the main building, as the view from there is better. Thank you.
