Best described as a quirky hotel. Rooms were ok; definitely three star.Clean but not for you if you're looking for modern up to date decor or amenities. No iron, hairdryer or mini bar in the rooms. Excellent Japanese food served in dining room or there's a more traditional menu.

The ancient hotel named after Admiral Coppers is immersed in naval history and has an excellent location, with the train station, bus station, ferry terminal and the sailing battleship Warrior at the door.
