Staff was wonderful, rooms were clean and spacious, the shower was probably the best shower i’ve ever used in Europe. The food in the restaurant was serviceable but the staff was great and the live music was a nice plus. The views were arguably the best I saw in Positano. Getting to downtown was easy with the conveniently located steps. I never took the bus back but it stopped right in front of the entrance( I needed to work off all the food I ate). Overall for staying in Positano at an affordable hotel it was a great experience. Would love to visit again (shoutout Renato the bartender for making our drinks on the patio a memorable experience every night!)

We had a very good experience with this hotel. Situated across the beach, near to the bus station and close to the railway station, the hotel has big, spacious rooms, with all the ammenities needed. The breakfast was great, with a lot of choices, and mostly, the breakfast room was a rooftop with such an amazing view over the sea and vezuvius. Everything was perfect

This hotel was formerly a convent and is adjacent to a beautiful church, and the setting is serene and beautiful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are so accommodating and helpful that you could not ask for more. The room my wife and I stayed in was lovely and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and the coffee was delicious. The staff were warm and friendly and the service given was among the best we’ve ever experienced. There is complimentary wi-fi ( a rarity these days with most establishments charging a small premium) . We had a lovely stay which was predominantly down to the staff and in particular a lovely lady named Theresa who always went out of her way and was so accommodating. Although the hotel is listed as a “Three Star” it feels like a “5 Star”. Stunning , and would not hesitate to stay here again.

L'Hotel Le Rocce è l'espressione concreta di cio che il suo direttore e staff trasmettono ovvero professionalità, cordialità, cura, attenzione ad ogni dettaglio ma soprattutto un senso di familiarità che mai ho trovato in altri alberghi nei mei lunghi viaggi. Ma adesso vorrei essere ancor più dettagliato... inizio dalla reception... tutto il personale è stato fin da subito chiaro, professionale, cordiale e sintetico nel fornirci ogni spiegazione nel suo singolo dettaglio ma soprattutto l'eleganza e la cortesia nel portarci in camera le valigie e mostrandoci ciò che la nostra splendida camera ci offriva... si la camera... chiamarla così è quasi riduttivo perché è proprio uno spettacolo... dalla pulizia in ogni angolo al profumo passando dal bagno che è molto grande, pulito, con il rivestimento in simmetria ma soprattutto abbiamo anche la cromo terapia... ma tornando alla camera il pavimento è super lusso per chi se ne intende lo sa apprezzare e riconoscere quindi complimenti alle governanti che ogni giorno danno il massimo per mantenere le camere pulitissime e brillant... siete eccezionali in tutto.... ma il vero fiore all'occhiello è il balcone con vista mozzafiato sulla costiera... veramente top... la prima colazione è abbondante, varia, con prodotti freschi e genuini e c'è veramente di tutto dal salato al dolce veramente ampia scelta... il personale in sala è veramente eccezionale, ci siamo sentiti fin da subito a casa... in famiglia.... e questo grazie a Salvatore che sa avere un occhio particolare e seguire ciò che avviene in sala e nei tavoli.... gli esterni poi sono da favola.... dalla scalinata in pietra, dove chi volesse può anche rivolgere una preghiera nella vicina nicchia con la Madonnina e vari santi... un atmosfera unica e poi la piscina... wow... un plus veramente eccezionale... tutto lo staff a disposizione con teli già pronti e presenza continua per soddisfare ogni esigenza ma in conclusione vorrei elogiare il direttore... semplicemente un grande... è stato sempre presente, cordiale e attento ad ogni cliente presente ma non solo a me ha colpito che lui stesso in prima persona serviva ai tavoli e si cura di tutto in prima persona .... che dire ... è da prendere sicuramente da esempio perché se l'hotel le rocce ha lasciato questi sentimenti sicuramente lo deve alla cura e gestione del Sign. I stayed at Le Sirenuse solo for only one night leading up to a wedding in Ravello and am so glad that I did! The stay was basically flawless. An easy transfer organized by the hotel from Naples and a smooth check-in experience with Maria at the front desk kicked off the stay. I arrived before my room was ready, and Maria did a great job of reviewing my itinerary, explaining how to make the most of my limited time on-property and smoothly handing me off to various English-speaking employees before I arrived at the pool restaurant for lunch. The pool, bar and casual restaurant are the heart of the property because of their extraordinary views of Positano and the Tyrrhenian Sea. It is truly one of the best views one could desire for lunch, pool lounging, reading etc. (and with views are clear and sunny most days the property is opened between April and October). Food across the board was excellent. I had a wonderful lunch at the pool (tomato salad and club sandwich) with generous portions, a nice bread service with housemade tapanade and Le Sirenuse olive oil, an amuse bouche and very attentive staff (e.g. they offered a table in the shade as the sun shifted midway through my meal, they brought another cocktail, olives and almonds to snack on after I finished my meal). La Sponda was a wonderful experience too. Elevated food featuring local ingredients, a flexible menu, live music and beautiful views (as with everywhere on this property). The service is what really stood out in a week full of great food — I was instantly recognized and greeted when I came down the stairs for dinner, the sommelier did an amazing job of pairing the a la carte dishes I chose with local wines, and the service was warm and helpful, but never overwhelming or pushy. I was in the base room as I booked a couple of weeks before my stay at a time when the property is generally sold out. The room was very comfortable, and had a nice view (albeit limited compared to the higher room categories). There was a festival in town that night so it was wonderful listening to the sounds of Italian music, Positano and sea breezes outside of my window while lounging in the room...and thankfully the sound insulation was great when it was time for bed. I loved the take-home gift offered in the room (I won’t spoil it), and all of the thoughtful touches, local handiworks and artwork throughout the property that extended to the room. It was basically a perfect stay. The only constructive criticism I would offer is that the gym is limited in the weight equipment it offers — it would be great to get a full rack of free weights to use as the one set of adjustable dumbbells that they have was in use while I was there so I had to wait a while, and the base rack only goes up to 20kgs or so. I would love to return and stay for longer. There were plenty of activities included on offer (sunset cruise, walking tour of Positano), and the location of the property is ideal for exploring town and walki

We spent 4 nights at Hotel Marincanto. This trip has been booked since 2019. The staff have beyond wonderful to work with during all the travel restrictions. They never collected any money from us until August , 30 days before our arrival. Location is perfect. We had the postcard Positano view. The room was fine (not luxurious ) but with an odd color scheme. Having a pool and beach access included was HUGE! I don’t think many hotels offer this. I cannot tell you how many people tried to access our beach area ( it’s not actually on the sand but was a few steps up on a concrete slab) . Marincanto beach setup is adjacent with a private beach club. There was an attendant at the entrance explaining to people it was private. The staff and location are the real standout here. The staff scored us dinner reservations at La Sponda ( something I was not able to do in my own). The front desk staff are all amazing. We had an early morning departure so we were going to miss breakfast. They had a care package waiting for us at check out of a light snack to take with us. Our last full day in Positano was awful weather. We went to the lobby for hot chocolate. When they bought us out the hot chocolate they included complimentary cookies. Such a nice thoughtful touch. Luigi the bartender is also wonderful. Breakfast on the terrace is absolutely beautiful. The terrace (Cele) is an absolutely beautiful location. We were able to watch a wedding from our balcony. It was beautiful. I can see why this is a popular wedding spot. They even had fireworks after. We really loved our time in Positano and really glad we chose this hotel. We would not have been happy paying for beach access every day! For that alone, this hotel is worth checking out.

A hotel a bit outside. Nevertheless, the view of the sea from Balcori is the best location hotel. Great breakfast and clean rooms. Parking is keyed to the counter and parking is in front of the hotel road. It's okay in the off-season, but I'm not sure if I can't book parking during the peak season. It is a hotel that welcomed a comfortable night and a refreshing morning.

We had a lovely stay at Covo dei Saraceni - the staff was so helpful and our room was amazing, with a gorgeous water view. Our room was very large with a balcony which we enjoyed several times a day. We ate breakfast at the hotel every day and it was ample and delicious. We enjoyed the fresh juices, pastries, salad, meats and cheeses. One of our favorites was the carrot cake! We also ate in the dining room several times and again, terrific service, nice wine list and delicious food. Would highly recommend for a restful stay in Positano.

The hotel was gorgeous and located in Sorrento with a beautiful view, totally worth the value for the night. My only suggestion is the pool to be open until a later time, and to offer lunch and dinner and not just breakfast. The reception personnel including the manager were very rude. I went to ask a question and the manager replied: ”only if it's one question because I'm very busy.” Every time I had a question I was made feel as if I was being a nag which I was not.
