Hotel Ascot Bristol

Located in the Drewitz district, it's conveniently close to the motorway and offers excellent tram connections (trams run every 10 minutes). The rooms are very spacious, even if they aren't the most contemporary in style. Daily housekeeping is still provided here. Breakfast is excellent and offers everything you could wish for. The service is also very good. The restaurant 'Journal' is highly recommended for dinner.

The service was fine, and the staff were friendly. However, the hotel's location isn't very convenient for tourists using public transportation. The room facilities are also quite old; there's no air conditioning, and while the toilet was clean, the toilet bowl had a slight odor, probably due to its age, and there were stubborn water stains in the bathtub. Overall, it's still good value for money.

The first breakfast was a real disappointment. The young staff weren't motivated, there was no cold cuts, fruit, etc., and they couldn't even offer me hot chocolate because the machine was broken (there are other ways to heat it up). When I asked if they were going to restock, they looked at their watch and said it was already 9:10. The second day, breakfast was fantastic! 👍🏻 They made us fresh scrambled eggs because they were out of them, and they brought hot chocolate to our table despite the broken coffee machine. So everything was great! 👍🏻

Very helpful staff at reception who also help on the phone! For example, I was given a kettle when I asked and the information I needed. Since I had business in the area, the location was ideal for me. There are few free parking spaces around the hotel, so it is better to book a parking space there, possibly in the underground car park.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and would be happy to book it again if necessary.

Pobyt w hotelu oceniam bardzo pozytywnie. Pokój był czysty, komfortowy i dobrze wyposażony. Obsługa była miła, pomocna i profesjonalna. Hotel ma dobrą lokalizację, a cała atmosfera sprzyja wypoczynkowi. Śniadania smaczne i z dobrym wyborem produktów. Zdecydowanie polecam i chętnie zatrzymam się tutaj ponownie.
