First of all, the location was good because it was right in front of the train station. It's quite a distance, but I walked to Sanssouci during my break. The picture is the view from the train station, but what you see is not Sanssouci, but a different building. If you go that far, there are restaurants and cafes nearby.

So reception was closed Cannot be reached by phone Supposed to check in at 6am but no one answered the phone.

We stayed four nights here in September 2023. This is a budget hotel but we found it a pleasant, well located place to stay. Although small, the room had everything we needed. The bed was good. The breakfast is very reasonably priced and had everything we needed. The breakfast area can become a bit crowded at times but we always found a place to sit. The hotel is a very short walk to the Hauptbahnof so taking the S-Bahn into Berlin or elsewhere from here is very easy. There is a lot to see in Potsdam.

Worst hotel I stayed in Germany during my trip. For a EUR 90 per night you get a small, basic room, dirty old black carpets, smell of sewage in the bathroom and from the air conditioning unit so you have to keep the window open all day and night. There is no safe or any other amenities in the room like tea/coffee maker, water or fridge. But for your EUR 90 you will get eco crazy Management ideas like recycled brown toilet paper, paper cups instead of glass, experimental ROOM CLEANING EVERY OTHER DAY and appalling quality of breakfast consisting of 1 choice of ham and cheese, cereal and a few apples and pears. No scramble eggs or bacon or sausages, and the few boiled eggs that they provide disappear very quickly and are not replaced for 1/2 hr. The breakfast room is so small, people are crowded sitting next to each other feeling uncomfortable during COVID. There is only 1 small elevator and you have to wait for ages for it to come. If you need to stay close to the train station in Potsdam, then the hotel is ok for 1 night, as the beds are relatively comfortable but otherwise I recommend you look elsewhere! I stayed in a sister B&B hotel in Poznan, Poland and it was a completely different experience - a beautiful, new, modern hotel with a fantastic breakfast choice for half the price, so I know that it's the management fault that the Potsdam hotel is run so badly.

Unfreundliches Personal, Hotel schmutzig und im ganzen Haus ekelhafter Geruch. Im Bad (207) Schimmel. Zimmer wirklich unglaublich ungepflegt und dreckig. Zuletzt konnte Frühstück nicht zugebucht werden obwohl der Frühstücksraum komplett leer war. Dieses Hotel war eine Zumutung und wir werden sicherlich nicht mehr buchen.

Direkt am Hauptbahnhof, aber dennoch relativ ruhig. Netter Service, sehr gutes Frühstücksbüffet. Wir waren eine Nacht da und es war super. Wer kein Problem damit hat ein Stück zu laufen findet auch kostenlose Parkplätze. Die Innenstadt kann man schön zur Fuß erreichen.

Sehr Stadtnah, man konnte gut zu Fuß gehen. Bei einem Zimmer zur Straße, hört man auch nichts vom Bahnhof. Für 10,50€ war das Frühstück ausreichend, alles da was man braucht. Für einen Kurztrilp die ideale Preisgünstige Unterkunft. Das Personal war sehr nett.
