Clean and stylish room with two very large, comfortable beds. Robes were brought up upon request. Our stay was for my child's birthday, and at breakfast in the restaurant, I asked for a slice of cake. After breakfast, they presented a bill as if it were for a whole cake. I explained that such a 'gift' should be communicated beforehand, and the administrator apologized and said I didn't need to pay for it. In early March, the pool was icy cold.

The best part was the free washing machine and dryer, which was super convenient for guests.

A clean chain hotel with free parking in a safe area of ​​San José. Several restaurants are within walking distance. Travel time to the airport is between 15 and 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Ideal for a last or first night.

I didn't experience any serious problems, but there was nothing particularly noteworthy for friendliness or efficiency either. It was adequate. The facilities are average. They meet the basic requirements you'd expect from a hotel, but they could benefit from an upgrade or better maintenance to offer a superior experience. The Aloft San Jose Hotel is a decent option for a stay with friends if you're looking for a place that meets the basics. I would highlight the cleanliness, but the hotel remains at an "average" level in terms of location, service, and facilities.
